NETHERLANDS

So far in this World Cup, the Netherlands have won only one of the five games they have played, leaving them with two points and placing them in 10th position on the table.

In their most recent match against Australia, they lost the toss and were sent out to bowl first. The Netherlands did manage to strike early with a wicket but couldn't maintain the momentum, allowing Australia to accumulate a massive total. Despite a commendable effort from Logan van Beek, who took five wickets, the Netherlands couldn't bowl Australia out and conceded a total of 399 runs in 50 overs.

Faced with a daunting chase, the Netherlands squad struggled to contend with the quality of the Australian bowlers. They found it challenging to build any substantial partnerships and were swiftly bowled out in the 21st over, managing only 90 runs.

BANGLADESH

Bangladesh has also secured only one victory so far in this World Cup, which places them at two points. However, they are sitting in 9th place, ahead of the Netherlands, due to their better net run rate.

In their most recent clash against South Africa, they lost the toss and had to bowl first. Bangladesh had a decent start, taking two wickets in the first ten overs. Unfortunately, they couldn't maintain this form and managed to take only three more wickets in the match, with Hasan Mahmud making the biggest contribution with two wickets. This allowed South Africa to accumulate a total of 382 runs in 50 overs.

Bangladesh battled at the crease from the start, losing three wickets in the first ten overs. They were under pressure from the South African bowlers, and despite a significant contribution from Mahmudullah with 111 runs, Bangladesh were bowled out for 233 runs in the 47th over, resulting in their fourth loss of the tournament.

Netherlands 2/1

Bangladesh 4/10

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The last time these two teams faced each other was in the 2011 World Cup when Bangladesh secured a comfortable 6-wicket victory.

Suggested Bet: Bangladesh total at first dismissal to be over 24.5 at 17/20

In their last two games, Bangladesh scored over 24.5 runs in both opening stands and they tend to make steady rather than explosive starts. I am betting we see more of the same.

Suggested Bet: Tanzid Hasan to score more than 21.5 runs at 17/20

In his last two games, Hasan has scored over 30 runs in each match and he is in good form and I believe is worth following.
