BettingDiaryThe Wimbledon Men’s Semi-Finals and the Tour de France are two of the sporting highlights taking place on Friday and we take a look at some of the options for punters as we head towards the weekend.

WIMBLEDON

Friday is men’s semi-final day and the crowds in Wimbledon should be in for some great entertainment with the semi-final line up that we have.

We like Roger Federer to beat Rafael Nadal on his favourite surface at 12/10.

Novak Djokovic should win comfortably against Roberto Bautista-Agut and we fancy Djokovic 3-0 at 7/10.

CYCLING, TOUR DE FRANCE

After a couple of tough stages culminating in Thursday’s mountain top finish, the sprinters will be licking their lips at the prospect of setting up a bunch finish. The stage is not pan flat, but there are no climbs that should trouble the fast men although legs will still be tired at the end of 230 kilometres. Expect a relatively weak break to move away before the likes of Jumbo-Visna, Bora-Hansgrohe and Quick Step-Deceuninck peg them back to set up a thrilling finish.

Tour de France betting markets are updated each day and there is Stage Winner betting and Match betting on each stage.

NETBALL WORLD CUP

The Netball World Cup gets underway on Friday in Liverpool and this certainly offers a change of pace for punters.

Australia are the favourites at 11/10 ahead of hosts England at 19/10 and you have to go somewhere down the betting boards to find South Africa priced at 20/1.

Both New Zealand and Scotland play their opening matches on Friday and they are each 1/160 to beat Malawi and Samoa respectively. Much like rugby there are Handicap and Total Points markets and for interest New Zealand are (-19.5) and the total goals is set at 111.5 for their game against Malawi.

HORSE RACING

Local Horse Racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack on Friday with the first race getting going at 12.35 pm and the 8th and final race scheduled for 16.45 pm.

There is plenty of Horse Racing in the UK on the weekend with some big feature races and you can access all of our Horse Racing markets by clicking here.

CURRIE CUP RUGBY

The Currie Cup gets going this weekend and betting on 3 matches is up. Current handicaps have the Sharks (-14.5) for Friday night’s clash with the Griquas in Durban.

Griquas showed good form in the Super Sport Challenge and we feel they are a good play on the handicap of (+14.5).

In Saturday’s games the Lions are (-12.5) against the Pumas and Western Province (-4.5) against the Blue Bulls.
