The TPC Twin Cities course in Blaine, Minnesota is host to this week’s PGA Tournament the 3M Open.
This is the second running of the 3M Open and a look at the field shows that a number of the top players have decided to take the week off
The beauty of sports betting is that by putting our money down this event could turn out to be just as exciting as any Major.
The TPC Twin Cities was designed by Arnold Palmer and plays to a Par 71. The course which used to be a regular on the Champions Tour was toughened up ahead of last year’s event, but as it often happens these days the pros were still able to take advantage of it with the winning score of -21. Driving distance and accuracy will certainly be an advantage, but a red hot putter will probably be the key to victory this week.
Dustin Johnson, a winner in his penultimate start, tops the betting boards at 12/1 ahead of Tommy Fleetwood at 15/1 and a somewhat out of sorts, Brooks Koepka at 16/1, you can 18/1 and better the balance.

Selections
Dustin Johnson each way at 12/1
Johnson missed the cut last week after taking a couple of weeks off, but if he can return to the form that saw him win just 4 weeks ago then he should have the beating of this field. DJ plays this course for the first time having not teed it up last year.
Lucas Glover each way at 35/1
Glover has been very consistent since returning to action and his Top 40 finish last week came on the back of 4 consecutive Top 25 finishes. He also had some course form with a Top 10 here last year.
Brian Harman each way at 55/1
Harman finished in the Top 10 here in 2019 and that is the only basis on which he is making a staking plan as he has missed his last 3 cuts. In this field and on a course that he obviously enjoys I am hoping he can come to light.
Tom Lewis each way at 80/1
Lewis finished in the Top 15 in his last start and is a player I used to watch quite closely on the European Tour. He didn’t play in this event last season, but he is a player who I can see making a good go of it in the USA and in this field 80/1 looks decent.
