BettingDiaryWith the series locked at one apiece the 3rd and deciding Test Match between England and the West Indies takes place at Old Trafford in Manchester from Friday.

England started this series as massive favourites, but the West Indies came out the strongest in the opener securing a 4 wicket win in Southampton. It was an exciting match and the West Indies always just seemed to stay ahead of England, but it was a different story in Manchester last week when England bounced back to win by 113 runs. It was a match where they were always in control, however a fair amount of play was lost due to bad weather and they had to force a result on Day 5, batting quickly and then bowling brilliantly to level the series.

MATCH BETTING

England 8/11

Draw 18/10

West Indies 8/1

Suggested Bet: England win at 8/11

The betting reflects the fact that rain is expected to play a role in this match, that being said, I like the way England went about their business when they had the opportunity in the 2nd Test and I think the West Indies could be psychologically scarred from that defeat. England to win the match is my main play.

Suggested Bet: A 100 to be scored in the match, NO, at 7/2

I am expecting both teams to play aggressive cricket and if rain, as expected, does intervene then it will certainly shorten the odds of no century being scored.

Suggested Bet: Total Match Sixes, over 4.5 at 17/20

This could be a similar match to last weeks with the pace having to be forced by the team in control and we had 10 sixes in that game so over 4.5 really does look like a good bet.
