VillaTwo more English Premier League matches take place on Sunday 20th August when West Ham host Chelsea and Aston Villa are at home to Everton

Villa 13/20 Draw 29/10 Everton 4/1

This is the first of Sunday's matches and both sides were beaten in their opening games. Villa were thrashed 5-1 at Newcastle with a first half debut goal for Moussa Diaby one of the few plus points. Tyrone Mings picked up a nasty looking injury as Villa crashed and burned in the second half having trailed 2-1 at the break.

Everton lost 1-0 at home to Fulham, passing up a number of goalscoring opportunities along the way. Jack Harrison arrived on loan from Leeds this week but is currently injured, Che Adam's has emerged as a transfer target from Southampton. Calvert-Lewin was not fit last week and Everton will be hoping he can play some part as they looked desperately short up front.

The Verdict:

Villa have done the double over Everton in each of the last 2 season's. I can forgive them last week's result to some degree as Newcastle were excellent but I'd be a touch weary of taking the very short odds.

I went with Watkins to score last week, he provided the assist but not the goal and I'm hoping he will make amends here.

West Ham 11/4 Draw 26/10 Chelsea 19/20

West Ham drew their opening match 1-1 away to Bournemouth. Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring early in the second half with a cracking goal but Bournemouth equalized on 82 minutes. Lucas Paqueta was involved last week but continues to be linked with a big money move to Manchester City.

Chelsea also drew their opening fixture 1-1. They fell behind early at home to Liverpool but a debut goal from Axel Disasi had them level before half time. There were chances for both sides thereafter in what was Mauricio Pochettino's first game in charge.

This week Chelsea signed Moises Caicedo from Brighton and Romeo Lavia's arrival from Southampton looked to be close to completion at the time of writing. Reece James picked up an injury against Liverpool and his well being is currently unclear.

This fixture finished 1-1 last season and Chelsea won 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

The Verdict:

I'll look to the goalscorer markets again and side with Chelsea's Jackson who played the full game against Liverpool and looked a handful.
