DRAGONS V BENETTON

Posted 18 October 11h43

This handicap opened +3.5 Dragons but has been stable at +5.5 most of the week.

Benetton were impressive last week against the Sharks but have always been shaky travellers and after 2 narrow losses to South African teams at home I think the Dragons can get the win they crave.

The points line is 46.5 and while leaning overs there is some rain about and so no bet for me at the moment.

BET: 2 units Dragons win at 21/10 at Boylesports*

CONNACHT V LEINSTER

Posted 18 October 11h36

This handicap opened +9.5 Connacht but has come into +6.5 after Leinster rested a few front line players.

I have no form feel on that front and that means turning to the points lines.

Total points is 44.5 and conditions look like they won’t be too bad with the really poor weather forecast to come after the game (disclaimer – the forecast differs from site to site)

All 4 of Connacht games have gone over the 45 point barrier and while Leinster games have been lower scoring due to an impressive defence I am betting that the changes will disrupt the system a bit and that Connacht can get amongst the points.

BET: 4 units over 44.5 points at 10/11 at Pokerbet*

EDINBURGH V CARDIFF

Posted 19 October 11h08

The handicap has started moving Edinburgh’s way with the early -12.5 gone and bookies are either -13.5 or -14.5.

Conditions look good and I fancy points but am siding with the home team at over 31.5.

They got 38 against the Stormers last week and 31 in a narrow loss at home to Leinster in week 1 so putting 32 past Cardiff should be well within range.

BET: 4 units Edinburgh over 31.5 points at 17/20 at WSB

ULSTER v OSPREYS

Posted 18 October 07h28

There has been movement in this handicap from -9.5 Ulster to -15.5 and this is due to Ospreys being hard hit by injuries.

Their trip to South Africa aside Ulster have been quite impressive with home wins over Connacht and Glasgow and I expect them to win this by some distance.

Conditions don’t look great but I think the Ulster over 30.5 will arrive although at this point I am sticking to the handicap and grabbing some of the -14.5 still on offer.

BET: 4 units Ulster -14.5 at 9/10 at HollywoodBets*
