BettingDiaryWe take a look at some of the sports and horse racing betting options available to punters on Tuesday in our Daily Diary.

FOOTBALL

The EFL Cup or Carabao Cup 2nd leg match takes place between Aston Villa and Leicester takes place on Tuesday with the sides currently locked at 1-1.

Leicester are flying high in the EPL are 15/20 for the win, the draw 31/10 and home side, Aston Villa 33/10.

Leicester are involved in the race to play in Europe and Aston Villa in a relegation battle and we think both sides will be equally motivated and the value could lie with the home team here at 33/10.

TENNIS

We have reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open with both Men’s and Women’s matches taking place on Tuesday.

Both Men’s Quarter-Finals have short priced favourites with Djokovic 1/8 to beat Raonic and Federer 1/11 to beat Sandgren, but there will be a number of Exotic Markets including total games in each match.

The Women’s matches look slightly more competitive in particular Ashleigh Barty v Petra Kvitova with Barty 7/10 and Kvitova 11/10.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Vaal Racetrack on Tuesday, an 8 race card starting at 12:45 and finishing at 16:55.

Punters will be hoping for a fast start with the short priced Varina currently at 13/20, a firm favourite in Race 1 and finding a banker in the Pick Six looks tough and punters may be well advised to wait until the last race, Race No. 8, Ideal Wolff, Horse No. 11 currently priced at 11/10 for the win.

Let’s have a quick look at the Met which will be run at the Kenilworth Racetrack this coming Saturday.

Hawwaam is 5/2 favourite with Vardy, the recent winner of the Queen’s Plate, 3/1 and Rainbow Bridge, which has been well supported at 4/1 and you can get 15/2 and better the balance.
