BettingDiaryThere are 3 English Premier League matches taking place on Tuesday night and we suggest a bet in each.

CRYSTAL PALACE V CHELSEA – Click Here to bet

Since beating Bournemouth 2-0 on the road in their first game back from the COVID-19 break Crystal Palace have slumped to 3 successive defeats, losing by big margins away to Liverpool and Leicester and in between that going down 1-0 to Burnley at home. They are now 14th on the log on 42 points and in no danger of relegation. They have won 6, drawn 4 and lost 6 of their 16 home games this season and Crystal Palace home games have been the lowest scoring in the EPL averaging just 1.6 goals each with under 2.5 goals arriving in 14 of the 16 matches.

Chelsea bounced back from defeat against West Ham to beat Watford 3-0 on Saturday. Chelsea away matches have been the highest scoring in the English Premier League with 13 of the 16 games delivering for over 2.5 goal backers and matches averaging 3.8 goals each.

Chelsea have beaten Palace 4 times in a row in the EPL.

Betting

Crystal Palace 25/4

Draw 34/10

Chelsea 5/10

Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 19/20

Palace have shown very little ambition at the moment and I think this will be a tight game and that the Palace trend of low scoring home games will trump the Chelsea trend of high scoring away matches.

WATFORD V NORWICH – Click Here to bet

Not one of the bottom four sides has won since play resumed and Watford sit just 1 point outside the relegation zone having taken just 1 point from a possible 12. Their most disappointing performance was the 3-1 defeat at home to Southampton. They must surely view this as a chance for 3 points.

Norwich are bottom of the table, 6 points adrift of second from bottom, Bournemouth and they have lost all 4 matches since returning from the COVID-19 break. They have yet to score a goal in this time.

Watford beat Norwich 2-0 on the road earlier in the season.

Betting

Watford 7/10

Draw 29/10

Norwich 17/4

Suggested Bet: Watford win at 7/10

I haven't been impressed with either of these sides and Watford have let me down a few times already from the betting perspective, but surely they can get 3 points against a Norwich side that knows that relegation is almost inevitable.

ARSENAL V LEICESTER – Click Here to bet

7th placed Arsenal hosts 3rd place Leicester and after a slow return to action after the break Arsenal has burst into life with 3 successive victories including beating Wolves 2-0 on the road last time out.

Leicester got their first win since the break when they beat Palace 3-0 at home. Prior to that in away matches they lost to Everton and drawn to Watford.

Leicester beat Arsenal 2-0 at home in the reverse fixture. Arsenal won this fixture 3-1 last season and there have been 11 goals in the last 2 meetings between the sides at the Emirates.

Betting

Arsenal 27/20

Draw 5/2

Leicester 41/20

Suggested Bet: Arsenal win at 27/20

I also considered the over 2.5 goals at 7/10 give recent head to heads at this ground, but I think Arsenal maybe worth siding with in current form as they push to get into the race for a top 4 finish.
