There is English Premier League action on Monday night and we take a look at that as well as the World Cup action that awaits on the weekend in our Daily Betting Diary.
FOOTBALL
5th placed Arsenal travel to 15th placed Sheffield United on Monday night and the Gunners are 19/20 to win the match with Sheffield United 29/10 and the draw priced at 11/4.
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 5 matches with 3 draws and 2 wins and their last away game was a 1-1 draw at Manchester United.
Sheffield United have only won 1 of their last 6 matches and that was away at Everton and they have lost their last 3 home games.
These sides haven't met since the Carling Cup match way back in 2008 so there is no head-to-head form to go on. Based on Sheffield United’s current problems at home, we do think the 19/20 Arsenal to win the match looks the play.

HORSE RACING
Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack on Monday with an 8 race card scheduled to get off at 12:10 and the final race set to go off 16:25.
The card has an open look to it and we fancy Horse No. 5, Travel Guide in the 6th race run over 1300 metres as a value play currently priced at 15/2 with Believethisbeauty and Ladysmith currently disputing favouritism in the race at 33/10.
We do think the favourite in the last, Seattle Mermaid, currently priced at 5/2 will be hard to beat over the 1000 metre sprint distance and that could be one to get us out of it in the last.
