There are 4 English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday and we take a look at each of them from a betting angle.
SOUTHAMPTON v CHELSEA
Southampton are in free fall and are down to 13th on the table after 6 successive losses, most recently going down 2-1 at home to Wolves, their 3rd successive home loss.
Chelsea, by contrast, are up to 4th on the table and are unbeaten in their last 5, winning their last 4 games in succession, most recently 2-0 at home to Newcastle. Their last 2 away games have been wins over Sheffield United and Tottenham by 1 goal margins.

Southampton 77/20
Draw 28/10
Chelsea 15/20
Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 15/20
I am going to keep this one simple as I think Southampton have to be opposed and Chelsea have an excellent record away at Southampton, winning their last 5.
BURNLEY v WEST BROM
Burnley are 15th on the table and are undefeated in their last 3 matches with 2 draws and a victory, most recently they drew 1-1 at home to Fulham, their 2nd successive 1-1 draw at home.
West Brom are 19th on the table and look certain for relegation and they have only won 1 of their last 10 matches, most recently though they did a point at home to Manchester United.
Burnley home games have been low scoring this season averaging just 2 goals each and if you had been backing over 2.5 goals in each of their 12 home matches you would be heading for the poor house as only 3 of those 12 bets would have landed. West Brom away games have been fairly consistent and averaged 2.8 goals each.

Burnley 21/20
Draw 47/20
West Brom 59/20
Suggested Bet: Burnley win at 21/20
I am a little bit surprised to be getting better than even money about Burnley as they are playing some good football and they face a side that is battling towards the foot of the table.
LIVERPOOL v EVERTON
The big Merseyside derby is a battle between 6th placed Liverpool and 7th placed Everton.
Liverpool looked like reigniting their title race, but have since lost 3 matches in a row going down 3-1 away to Leicester in their last start. Their last 2 home games have been defeats to Manchester City by 4-1 and Brighton 1-0 and Liverpool’s last 5 away games have seen 2 draws followed by 3 defeats.
Everton are also battling though and are coming off a 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester City and have only taken 1 point from the last 9 they have played for. Their last away game was a come from behind 3-3 draw against Manchester United. Everton have been strong on the road this season winning 7 and drawing 2 of their 11 matches.
These sides have generally been evenly matched over the years and 3 of their last 4 League matches have finished in draws.

Liverpool 5/10
Draw 15/4
Everton 11/2
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Everton (+1) at 33/20
Liverpool got back to winning ways in midweek in the Champions League. Given Liverpool’s poor recent home record in the League and Everton’s form on the road I think that the visiting team must be backed to get something out of this and would even consider the 13/2 that they win the match.
FULHAM v SHEFFIELD UNITED
Fulham are 18th on the table, 6 points short of 17th placed Newcastle who sit outside the relegation zone. They have only won 3 of 24 games this season, but have drawn an incredible 10 games including their last match, 1-1 away at Burnley. Their home form has cost them this season and with only 1 win and 4 draws in their 12 games.
Sheffield United are bottom of the table with just 3 wins in 24 matches and like Fulham have only drawn 2 games. They lost 3-0 away to West Ham last time out and have just 1 win, all be it at Old Trafford to show for their efforts on the road this season.

Fulham 12/10
Draw 22/10
Sheffield United 26/10
Suggested Bet: Sheffield United win at 26/10
Although the results haven't quite turned for them I have been quiet impressed by Sheffield United in some of their recent fixtures and they could take advantage of Fulham’s struggles at home.
