Super Rugby AU enters its penultimate week of Group Matches and we take a look at both games from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where the Brumbies are now 8/10 for the win, the Reds having shortened in to 9/4, the Rebels are 13/2 and you can get 19/1 about the Waratahs, who would need other teams to do them a favour. Bear in mind the format of this competition is that the winner goes straight to the Final and 2nd and 3rd place play off for a spot against them.

Brumbies 8/10 (4/6)
Reds 9/4 (11/2)
Rebels 13/2 (3/1)
Waratahs 19/1 (9/1)
BRUMBIES v WESTERN FORCE – Click here to bet
The Brumbies currently top the table on 23 points with two games left and a victory here would seal their spot in the final.
They turned in their best performance of the season last week beating the Waratahs 38-11 in Canberra and it was an impressive bounce back from a 30-12 loss to the Rebels two weeks previously.
The Force are rooted to the foot of the table with 6 defeats in 6 matches and last week they were absolutely hammered 57-5 by the Reds. They started the season fairly competitive, but their last two defeats have been by 52 and 20 points respectively.
The Brumbies beat the Force 24-0 when they met in New South Wales earlier in the Tournament, is was a game played in very wet conditions.
BETTING
Brumbies 1/16
Draw 50/1
Western Force 11/1
Handicap: Brumbies (-20.5) at 9.10, Western Force (+20.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Alternative Winning Margin, Brumbies by 21-30 points inclusive at 28/10
The Handicap looks well set here at 20.5 points, but if anything I am leaning to the Brumbies to run away with this one and I am betting on the Handicap to be beaten, but by 10 points or less.
REBELS v WARATAHS – Click here to bet
The Waratahs are on 15 points, 1 point clear of the Rebels, but having played a game more with the Rebels playing the Force in their final game the Waratahs will have to push for a bonus point win here.
The Rebels are coming off a bye having gone down 19-3 to the Reds in Queensland in a game where they dominated possession for long periods. They had previously turned in their best performance of the season, beating the Brumbies 30-12.
The Waratahs were disappointing last week when they were well backed on the Handicap, but lost by 27 points to the Brumbies away. That came on the back of a convincing 20 point win over the Force and a 33 point demolition of the Reds.
These sides met in Sydney earlier in the season with the Rebels winning 29-10.
BETTING
Rebels 15/20
Draw 25/1
Waratahs 12/10
Handicap: Rebels (-2.5) at 9/10, Waratahs (+2.5) at 9/10
Suggested Bet: Rebels win at 15/20
The Waratahs have been very inconsistent and if they can reproduce the form they showed when beating the Reds they must have a chance here, but on last weeks showing against the Brumbies you just have to back a Rebels side who can seal their place in the playoffs with a win here.
