Difficult card @ Greyville

Race 1 - Queen's Bounty (40/1) - Good penultimare run. Last run over 1600m was too far, back in trip today. Light weight with the apprentice allowance. Was backed on debut as well. Cant get hurt at these odds. 

Race 6 - Meeksha (7/1) - Stable clearly rates this horse as it was well backed in its last two starts. Won its maiden in the boardroom, could be anything today. Decent E/W odds. 

Race 7 - Lady Jean (28/10) Brings strong 2yo form into the race.

Kenilworth Tuesday, plenty of well bred expensively purchased 2yo's stepping out early in the card, not easy to punt these races though, Later on in R5 Superhero (5/2) looks to have a decent shout, 2nd run back from a long break back, was backed that day, should be fitter today. Plattner / Nel look to have plenty of chances on the card.

This weekend's local racing schedule has changed with Saturday's Kenilworth meeting switched to Durbanville and racing at Turffontein has been brought forward to Saturday to give us a double header. Will have a look at the cards and post anything that stands out on Saturday morning. Winning Form Punters Challenge previews below

2 for me today - 

turf 7 - valentina balducci @ around 6/1 ew. clearly talented, returns from break but loves the track and if fit looks a big runner.

turf 9 - quiet winter @ 10/1 ew. gavin takes ride again, back at her preferred track, on an older formline thru captain selvie she should be able to take beat a few more fancied runners here, just needs to reproduce that maiden win when she won with plenty in the tank.

Durbanville Saturday my preference rather than Turffontein

R4 Girl Like Us, competitive race but this one stands out, very consistent and good record at Durbanville, just failed to get up last time and de Melo stays on board. Hoping for a bigger price than the 33/10 currently on offer as its competitive

R5 Fort Yukon at 7/2 was backed last 2 starts, MR heading down yet seems pretty consistent and JP has ridden him twice before

R6 Think Shezeripper is a player here at 10/1 based on debut and then 2nd run. Was fav last time and it all went wrong but if that can be forgiven she should be uch shorter in the betting

R7 Aquae Calidae looks a worthy fav at 14/10, bolted up last time and both races to date producing plenty of subsequent winners. By a Dynasty mare so thinking step up to 1500 won't be an issue

R8 Elusive Gift (10/1) has something to find with a few of these at the weights but is a course winner, seems to have had excuses of late and MR has been dropping. Manna Fortune in the irons today and well drawn at 3
