All Racing Tips w/c 29th June

FABIAN is 20/1 for the Golden Horse on Sat. This is a big price for a horse that ran a cracker last time out and carries just 52kg this weekend. The Bass Robinson yard are one i'm following closely this winter season and they should have won the Computaform last weekend.

I have taken the following early as think price might change

Race 5 - Ecstatic Green @ 12/1 (Sunbet)
Win in last was super impressive, admittedly against much weaker. But previous 2 runs to top horse Springs of Carmel have also been impressive.

Race 6 - Slalom Queen @ 18/1 (WSB)
Running againest the boys and getting 2.5kg's. Just went down to the MDK's impressive winner last weekend in Mount Pleasant. Remember hearing talk that MDK rated Al Muthana as better than him but is he 3 lengths better. For me worth getting involved with Slalom Queen.

Some really nice racing this weekend and those are my early punts.

Not had time to see if anything aligns to the excellent Clocking the gallop team, but a few early bets i've taken -

Scottsville 5 - Did have Fiftshadesdarker @ 33/1 but yard comments say is scratched, or will be. So joined KT on Ecstatic Green 12/1 ew, joburg horses seem to be a touch fitter right now.

Race 6 - No Laying Up 33/1 just seems too big. Formline from debut good and should come on from that.

Race 7 - no bet yet but what a cracker, Celtic Sea vs Run Fox Run, can't wait to see them go. Quartet 1,4/1,4/2/5 straight could be my bet.

Race 8 Fabian as already posted, 20/1 ew cracking value.

Race 4 Sovereign Spirit 10/1 ew. Given a prep last time out when not pushed, crying out for ground and beautifully bred.

Added 1 more - R3 Dark Moon Down 10/1 ew. Looks an above average filly taking on males, eye catching jockey engagement and should strip fitter today.

Thanks KT and South for the great thoughts , I'm in and out all day sadly but stil hoping to catch most of the action.

Race 1. Lot's of money for the top one and the form from the cape is solid , I like Sea master and Ziva la winter to throw out some cheek and will be mixing them up a bit in a few exotics

Race 2. I backed Tyrell's Bullet last time out for large places and he just missed out sadly running 4th. The Joburg maidens are normally quite a bit stronger than their coastal neighbours and if he goes down ok after his travels he's a confident first choice at 22/10.

Race 3. South's Dark Moon Down drops a huge amount in class here and big respect over this trip 12/1 also I like Before Noon with a ton on his back at 4/1.

Race 4. Nexus is a very sart sort but at 17/10 he could be a little too short atm. GG's Dynasty is a small horse but incredibly gutsy at 9/1 and also like Sovereign Spirit as mentioned on the forum, this horse has a big reputation and could burst onto the scene at 10/1.

Race 5. Winter Smoke was most impressive first time out but this is a tough task in her second outing at evens . Estatic Green 11/1 , Dubawi Princess 16/1 and Rapid Fire 16/1 are all runners .

Race 6. Joseph Barry is my narrow choice if he settles with the blinkers at 5/1 , the top two are good horses while respect for Light that Loose at 12/1.

Race 7. The tope two fillies are top class and it would be a big surprise to see both beaten, I'm leaning towards Celtic Sea at this stage at 11/10.

Race 8. Frosted Gold not given a great ride last time out and could improve at 7/1 , also like the other Ikigai who could be low flying late on at 9/1.

Race 9. Sinffornico and Traces at decent odds

Race 10. Fred and Black Fox to end the day , have a superb day everyone.

1st 3 races to me are head scratching and gone wide in Bi-pot and PA.

Race 4 - Capoeira @ 16/1.
Raced at Scottsville and seems to be improving. Also has Gavin up and based on previous form can run fresh. Worth ago for me but already on SS @ 12/1 from earlier in the week thanks to South.

Race 5 - Ecstatic Green @ 10/1 & War of Athena @ 50/1

Also really like War of Athena and think could be huge lurker. Last run well beating Dubwai Princess and Due Diligence, won well going away and was very green. Hoping came on from that run and worth a shot at those odds

Race 6 - Slalom Queen @ 18/1 and Pray for Rain @ 15/1
SQ as previously said.
Pray for Rain was impressive last time behind fav and looks like stable elect, but drawn on right side according to reports and 2nd run after gelding. May pop up and surprise.
I have been an Erik the Red fan but not sure he is going to like the going at Scottsville, but think he is impressive.

Race 7 - Celtic Sea as well. My lurker is Pretty Young Thing @ 16/1
Watching some of her runs, likes to run up frnt and may be able to hold on. Will take boxed Trifecta with 2 fav's.

Race 8 - Warrioirs Rest @ 16/1
Last run at Scottsville was super impressive and now getting weight from all of the runners, just think price is wrong. Also like Coil's Ikigai.

Race 9 - Flippo @ 8/1
An old favourite who has seemed to have injury problems. Hoping bck to best as last run wasn't bad behind top sorts.

Another for the 1st race - Sea Master @ 10/1
Decent 1st run just behind 2nd Fav, Crimson king and was running on nicely.
Gets top jock up and drawn 3 compared to CK at 12.

So close with Ecstatic Green. Thought she had the winner.

been out and just caught all the replays, top stuff KT, 2 very nice priced winners today! And coil early on too.

More places for me, can't seem to crack the winners box week after week.

Winter Blues 20/1 ew for some value in next.

Winter is Over @ 18/1
Snaith hasn't won a race today and last chance. Had some good runs including one behind Silver Host. Hasn't been bought up to make the numbers and maybe can surprise.

On run behind Lord Melbourne, has a few of more favorites on that run. Looked at last run at Vaal Classic, ran 3 around the whole bend and hopefully with better draw can place and run on.

Race 7 - Clever Guy @ 16/1
Huge weight turn around to Fav Marshall, worth ago at these odds.

Race 8 - Divine Odyssey @ 13/2
Needs to win this to stand any chance to get into July. And is getting weight from both Green Haze (3kg's for 2.25l beating and D'Arrive (3kg's for 1.75l beating)

If you ignore last run @ Turfontein, has had 3 more than decent runs. On a line through Sultanah, showed an improvement of 5 lengths from that oor run to the last at Vaal. Worth ago at those odds and drawn well with Stable Jock up.
