GAVEL STRIKE is a two-year-old taking on older horses. He produced a decent comeback run when finishing 4th behind Fast Love, who looks to be a nice type. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Coup De Grace should strip much fitter today and with Serino Moodley retaining the ride, the pair should find themselves in the winner's enclosure.
