CAERPHILLY is a speedy daughter of Seventh Rock. She produced a very good comeback run when finishing 2nd over this distance on the Turffontein inside course last time. She has struck up a good partnership with jockey Raymond Danielson and the combination should find themselves in the winner's enclosure

Race 7: ELUSIVE FORCE (1)

Jockey: Lerena G - Trainer: Peter P

ELUSIVE FORCE was in need of her comeback run over this distance last time. Her form prior to that outing was good. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena retains the ride today and she should strip a much fitter horse. The daughter of Elusive Fort does not meet the strongest line-up this afternoon and should be the one they all have to beat.

THERAVADA was just beaten in his comeback run over 1500m on this course last time. He lost a length at the start that day, but stayed on well at the finish. Gavin Lerena retains the ride today and in this type of field, he should go one better.

SACRED LOTUS is the value bet on this afternoon's programme. She showed good improvement in her comeback run over 1450m last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will enjoy the rise in distance. She is likely to be switched off near the rear of the field and made to do her best work up the straight. She is however carded to race on 30 June 2020 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.
