Morocco and South Africa clash in our featured Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 on Tuesday and Bafana are very much the bookmakers underdogs.
The first of the matches on Tuesday sees Mali take on Burkina Faso but we concentrate on the clash between Morocco and Bafana Bafana
Morocco
Morocco topped Group F, unbeaten with 2 wins and 1 draw and they finished 4 points clear of DR Congo (who knocked Egypt out on Sunday) whilst Zambia and Tanzania earned 2 points each and were eliminated.
Morocco put themselves in early control of their group with a 3-0 win over Tanzania and then played out a 1-1 draw with DR Congo. A 1-0 win over Zambia saw them go through comfortably and their goals in the group stage were shared around.
Morocco and Bafana met in qualifying for these finals and both teams won their home fixtures 2-1.
At the time of writing Morocco are priced at 5/2 favourites to win the tournament with BoyleSports
South Africa
Bafana were runners to Mali in Group E with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat against their name. Mali finished with 5 points, Bafana and Namibia both had 4 and Tunisia with 2 went home early.
After missing a penalty and losing their opening match 2-0 to Mali Bafana put themselves on the board in some style in their second outing with a 4-0 win over Namibia. Percy Tau, who missed from the spot against Mali, made amends by opening the scoring with an early penalty against Namibia and a brace from Themba Zwane had South Africa 3-0 up by half time. Thapelo Maseko came off the bench to make it 4-0 with 15 minutes to go and that is how it finished. Bafana still had work to do to secure a last 16 spot when they took on Tunisia in their final group match, the game ended without a goal, a result which eliminated the Tunisians.
At the time of writing Bafana are priced at around 45/1 to win the tournament with BoyleSports
The Betting
Morocco are currently trading at around 6/10 to win the game with the draw at 27/10 and South Africa are priced at around 52/10
A game of 3 goals or more in total is priced at 15/10 and it's 1.52/1 for both teams to score.

Verdict:
A tough task for Bafana against a nation which reached the semi finals of the Fifa World Cup in 2022. However it was honours even over the course of the 2 qualifying matches and Bafana will take heart from a solid defensive display against Tunisia last time out.
I'm wagering we will see a rearguard action from Bafana and I'm with the teams to go into half time all square at 0-0.
Bets: 1st Half Correct Score 0-0 at 15/10 with BoyleSports
