The Adelaide Oval is the host for this weekend’s Rugby Championship clash between Australia and South Africa. The Springboks don’t have a great record in Australia, but they start as favourites to win this one.

Australia started their Rugby Championship campaign in a positive fashion with a 41-26 win over Argentina, a game where they had to come from behind to eventually win comfortably in the last 20 minutes. It was a very different story the next week though and the Wallabies were never in the hunt when beaten 48-17 by a fired up Puma side. Prior to the Argentina matches Australia hosted England in a 3 match series winning the opener before losing the last 2 Tests to go down 2-1.
The Wallabies have made a number of changes and have picked what looks a very strong side.

The Boks were full value for a convincing 16 point victory over the All Blacks in Nelspruit in their opening match and they kicked off solid favourites in Johannesburg the next weekend. They started badly before fighting back to take the lead only to concede two late tries and lose 23-35. The Boks have a poor record in Australia and lost both test matches last year by 13 points and 2 points respectively.

I am expecting a close game and for this bet to arrive I need either team to win by 6 points or less with the draw also in my favour.
