BettingDiaryWe take a look at 3 of the English Premier League matches taking place on Saturday including the massive Chelsea v Manchester City clash at Stamford Bridge.

Let’s kick off with a look at the Outright Betting where Chelsea and Manchester City are both trading at 2/1 joint favourites, Liverpool are 7/1 and you can get 5/1 Manchester United and 150/1 and better the balance.

CHELSEA v MANCHESTER CITY

Chelsea are top of the log having dropped just 2 points in their opening 5 matches. Last time out they were too strong for Tottenham winning 3-0 on the road and all 4 of their victories have come by more than a 1 goal margin.

Manchester City are 5th on the table, 3 points behind Chelsea and they are coming off a disappointing goalless draw at home to Southampton last time out. They played Tottenham away in the first game of the season, losing 1-0 and a trend in Manchester City games this season is that only 1 side has found the back of the net and City haven't conceded in their last 4 games.

Chelsea 33/20

Draw 23/10

Manchester City 7/4

Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 33/20

Chelsea are playing incredible football at the moment and Manchester City look just a touch off their best and I think Chelsea will move to outright EPL favourites with 3 points here.

MANCHESTER UNITED v ASTON VILLA

United are 3rd on the table, level on points with leaders, Chelsea, after 5 matches. They are coming off a 2-1 away win at West Ham and their last home game was a 4-1 hammering of Newcastle United and in 2 home games this season they have scored 9 goals and conceded 2.

Aston Villa are 10th on the log and got a much needed home win over Everton last time out. Looking at their away record they are yet to get a point, losing 3-0 at Chelsea and 3-2 at Watford.

Manchester United 4/10

Draw 17/4

Aston Villa 13/2

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester United (-1) at 1/1

For this bet to arrive we need Manchester United to win by more than a goal and given their current form at home and the fact that Villa have really struggled on the road, I like the chances of a big United win.

BRENTFORD v LIVERPOOL

Brentford are sitting 9th on the table after 5 matches with 8 points out of a possible 15. They beat Wolves 2-0 on the road last time out and their last home game was a 1-0 home defeat to Brighton. In their only other home game this season they beat Arsenal 2-0 on the opening day of the season.

Liverpool are level with Chelsea at the top of the table and their only points dropped were against Chelsea where they drew 1-1 at home, although they would have been disappointed not to take advantage of the fact that Chelsea went down to 10 men. Since that match they have beaten Leeds 3-0 on the road and Crystal Palace 3-0 at home and all 4 victories have come by more than a 1 goal margin.

Brentford 21/4

Draw 7/2

Liverpool 5/10

Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, NO, at 9/10

The Chelsea game aside, Liverpool have looked in excellent form and their defence has been particularly impressive and they have yet to concede a goal. I expect that Brentford are going to get something of a wakeup call in this one and will also consider the Liverpool (-1) Goal Handicap at 13/10.
