SATURDAY
LIVERPOOL v BURNLEY
Liverpool got their campaign off to an impressive enough start with a 3-0 away victory over Norwich last week. They face a Burnley side who were disappointing in losing their opener 2-1 at home to Brighton.
Burnley stunned Liverpool at Anfield last season winning 1-0 and they are undefeated in their last 2 trips here. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 3-0 at Burnley and they are short priced favourites to go 2 from 2 to start the season.

Liverpool 2/9
Draw 6/1
Burnley 12/1
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, 3-0 at 11/2
It is hard to see this Burnley side troubling Liverpool and I think a speculative venture into the Correct Score Market is the way to go here.
MANCHESTER CITY v NORWICH
City’s title defence got off to a rocky start when they lost 1-0 at Tottenham Hotspur in their opening match. They face a Norwich side that conceded 3 goals at home to Liverpool and despite topping the Championship last season, the Canaries look like they are in for a long and hard battle of survival.
You have to go back a couple of seasons for when these sides last met with City winning the home fixture 5-0, but Norwich winning when they hosted by 3-2.

Manchester City 1/8
Draw 35/4
Norwich 21/1
Suggested Bet: Manchester City (-2) at 17/20
For this bet to arrive Manchester City need to win by 3 goals or more and given Norwich’s performance against Liverpool and the fact that I am expecting a City backlash to their opening weekend defeat I think this is a likely scenario.
SUNDAY
SOUTHAMPTON v MANCHESTER UNITED
Southampton got their campaign off to a disappointing start losing 3-1 away at Everton last weekend. They welcome a Manchester United side that turned in one of its better performances in some time with a thumping 5-1 victory over Leeds at home in their opening clash.
There were plenty of goals in the two fixtures between these sides last season, most of them from Manchester United who won 9-0 at home and beat Southampton 3-2 on the road.

Southampton 17/4
Draw 13/4
Manchester United 13/20
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 33/20
Goals tend to flow when these teams play and this bet would have arrived in 5 of the last 6 head-to-heads between the sides in the EPL
ARSENAL v CHELSEA
For Arsenal fans it was a case of “here we go again” as they lost 2-0 away at newcomers Brentford last weekend. London rivals, Chelsea, had no such trouble though seeing off Crystal Palace 3-0 at home.
Looking at recent head-to-head form between the sides in the League, the Gunners did the double over Chelsea last season winning 1-0 on the road and 3-1 at home.

Arsenal 37/10
Draw 27/10
Chelsea 8/10
Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 8/10
Chelsea are a super-efficient side and there already seem to be question marks over this Arsenal squad, the visitors look a solid bet to win the match.
