FRIDAY
BRIGHTON v CRYSTAL PALACE
It is always good to get some Friday night betting action in and here we have 9th placed Brighton playing 12th placed Crystal Palace.
Brighton are on a decent run of form and have taken 7 points from their last 9 including away victories at Everton and Chelsea in their last 2 games. Their last home game was a 2-0 win over Brentford. Brighton have won 3 of 9 matches at home this season and their home games have been low scoring, averaging 1.9 goals each with only 2 of the 9 matches reaching the 3 goal mark.
Palace have won 1 and lost 2 of their last 3 games and last time out they lost 3-2 at home to West Ham and prior to that beat Norwich 3-0 at home. Their last away game was a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham. They have only won once in 9 attempts on the road this season. Their away games have averaged 3 goals each with 6 of the 9 games delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers.
These sides played to a 1-1 draw at Palace earlier in the season and last season Palace won this fixture 2-1.

Brighton 21/20
Draw 22/10
Crystal Palace 27/10
Suggested Bet: Both teams to score, YES, at 17/20
This has been a common result when these sides have met, arriving in their last 3 matches and Brighton’s last 2 games have each seen both teams find the back of the net.
SATURDAY
MANCHESTER CITY v CHELSEA
Manchester City are going strong at the top of the League, 13 points ahead of 2nd placed Chelsea.
City have only lost 2 matches all season and are coming off away wins over Arsenal and Brentford. Their last home game was a 6-3 hammering of Leicester and City’s home games have averaged 3.7 goals each with them scoring 31 and conceding only 6 in 10 matches.
Like City, Chelsea have only lost 2 games this season, but they have had a number of draws including 4 of their last 5 games and their last match a 2-2 home draw against Liverpool. Their last away game was a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa and overall on the road this season Chelsea have won 7 and drawn 2 of their 10 away matches.
Looking at Chelsea’s goal scoring record on the road, their matches averaged 2.6 goals with 60% of the games delivering profits for over 2.5 goal backers.
City beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season and the away team has won the last 3 meetings between these sides.

Manchester City 7/10
Draw 28/10
Chelsea 15/4
Suggested Bet: The draw at 28/10
This should be a great game, but I am not sure we are going to get goals so I am going to steer away from those markets and focus on the result where I think Chelsea will do enough to get a point, a result which won’t have any real bearing on the Title Race.
SUNDAY
TOTTENHAM v ARSENAL
Tottenham are currently 6th on the table, 2 points behind Arsenal in 5th. Tottenham are coming off a 1-0 away win over Watford and their last home game was a 3-0 defeat of Crystal Palace. They have won 5 and drawn 3 of their last 8 matches and at home Tottenham have only lost twice in 10 starts. Tottenham home games have averaged 2.6 goals each with 70% of the matches reaching the 3 goal mark.
Arsenal lost 2-1 at home to Manchester City last time out and that defeat brought a run of 4 successive victories to an end. Their last away games were a 5-0 win over Norwich and a 4-1 win over Leeds and on the road this season they have won 5 and drawn 1 of their 10 games.
Looking deeper into Arsenal’s goal stats their away matches averaged 3.2 goals each with a 60% return for over 2.5 goal backers.
Arsenal beat Tottenham 2-1 earlier in the season, but the home team has tended to dominate this fixture in the last couple of seasons.

Tottenham 14/10
Draw 22/10
Arsenal 39/20
Suggested Bet: Arsenal win at 39/20
I have been very impressed with the Gunners and less so with Tottenham in recent weeks and I think that Arsenal can get the win here and take a big step towards finishing in the Top 4.
As far as goals go I see over 2.5 goals is 10/11 and given the recent trend of Arsenal high scoring matches on the road that is quite tempting as well.
