SOFT SPOT was an easy winner of his last start over this distance on the turf. He raced from just off the pace and despite hanging, he won with a ton in hand. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Soft Falling Rain makes his handicap debut, but he is lightly raced and has plenty of scope. If suited to the polytrack surface, he should be the one to beat.
