He was slow into stride, but ran on well and fought hard all the way to the finishing post. The son of Visionaire would have gained from the experience and he will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. He gets the tongue tie fitted for the first time and should take a power of beating.

FORRIES ON FRIDAY is a well-bred daughter of Soft Falling Rain from the Gavin Smith stable. She produced a promising debut effort when finishing 2nd, a length behind the winner. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should be the one they all have to beat here.

JUST MY STYLE has good consistent form lines to her credit. She is her own worst enemy at the start and she is often slow into stride. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this c&d. If jumping on terms this afternoon, she should find herself in the winner's enclosure.

FAVORITA was a tad disppointing in her last start over six furlongs at Kenilworth. However, she was ultra-impressive when winning the East Cape Fillies Nursery in her last start over 1200m on this course. She should have no issues with the rise in distance and should strip a much fitter horse. From her good draw of two, she should take a power of beating.

SIR GEOFFREY is the value bet on this afternoon's card. He was in need of his last start on the polytrack. He is a much better horse on the turf and if repeating his penultimate run when finishing 4th over this c&d, he should be the one to beat. He does have another wide draw to overcome, but he is likely to be ridden from off the pace and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
