The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and she should be the one to beat. FOREST SPY is the best bet on the programme. He was a tad disappointing in his last start over 1000m on this course, but is better than the effort suggests. He has finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. The 12-week break would have done him the world of good. He is the best weighted runner in this contest and should notch up his third career victory.

GLOBETONIC followed up his maiden win with a good victory over 1200m on this course. The manner in which he ran on at the business end was eye-catching. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Great Britain returns from a well-deserved 10-week break and if not in need of the run, he should notch up the hat-trick in this line-up.

ATKINSON GRIMSHAW had excuses when leaving the starting stalls last time. He stayed on at the finish that day, but found one too good in the form of Zig Zag. He has finished second once and third three times from six starts on this course. If getting away to a clean start, he is capable of notching up his fourth career victory.

She takes a drop in class and from her good draw of two, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure
