IPHIKO was an easy winner when shedding her maiden tag over this trip. She showed good speed, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Trippi takes on much stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand. If not too green around the turn, she can follow up.
BECKONING BEAUTY has good recent form lines to her credit. She showed good pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, but found one too good in the form of Sweet Symphony. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
MAGICALLEE finished 1.3 lengths behind the second choice in her penultimate run. She is 3.5kgs worse off at the weights tonight and may battle to turn the form around.
Race 2
MASTER KEEKU ran on powerfully when winning his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The removal of the blinkers has done the trick and from draw six, he will be mowing down the frontrunners.
GREY OCEAN was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over this distance on the Polytrack. He has finished second twice from as many starts on this course. The son of Greys Inn is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
PACIFIC WINTER’S last start can be ignored as the jockey reported something to be amiss. He is a much better horse with the blinkers fitted. He prefers 1000m, but in this type of field, he is capable of running into the money.
Race 3
QUANABI’S last two starts over this distance have been decent. She raced from a handy position over this distance on the Polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Forged In Ice. She is back on the turf and in this line-up, she may be the one to side with.
ADITI finished 0.9 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms tonight and there should not be much separating them once again.
JOY TO THE WORLD showed some improvement in her last start over 1200m on this course. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the extra furlong on offer. The daughter of Willow Magic is progressive and may have more to come.
Race 4
UNIQUE POWER ran a good race when third over 1600m on the Polytrack last time. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. The son of Trippi has finished third twice from as many starts over this distance. He is back on the turf and should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
GERONIMO has decent recent form lines to his credit. He finished second in his penultimate run over this trip. The 5yo gelding is likely to have his own way in front and may be hard to peg back.
TOP SAIL ran a fair race in his stable debut over 1200m on this course. The son of Master Of My Fate will enjoy the extra furlong on offer and can run into the first three.
Race 5
PARKTOWN was his own worst enemy over 1600m on this course last time as he overraced in the early stages of the race. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He will enjoy the drop to 1400m and can return to winning ways.
BEECHURST stayed on when second over 1600m on the Polytrack last time. He has dropped to a competitive rating and if keeping on a straight line, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
PEDRO was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1600m on the Polytrack. He was given a three-pound penalty for that victory. He takes a slight rise in class, but is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.
Race 6
POLITICAL PARTY took the lead at the 400m mark over this C&D last time, but was outrun late by Wiidski. The son of Master Of My Fate meets the right field this evening and from pole position, he should go one better.
DEVILS AND DUST stumbled leaving the starting stalls last time, but finished her race off well to finish second. The cheekpieces seem to have done the trick on the daughter of Rafeef and she should be involved in the fight to the finish.
PIRATE PRINCE showed good improvement in his last start over 1700m on the Polytrack. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the finish. He is having his peak run tonight and should be cherry-ripe. The son of Master Of My Fate is a solid back up for the Alyson Wright yard.
Race 7
VICTORIA PAIGE ran a good race when second in the Listed Off To Stud Stakes last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. She has won twice, finished second once and third once from ten starts over this distance. She carries a handy galloping mass of 52kgs and should be the one to beat.
MACARA has good recent form lines to her credit. She has won twice, finished second once and third twice from seven starts on this course. The daughter of Vercingetorix will be mowing down the frontrunners.
LYRICAL DANCE is better than her last three starts suggest. She has won once, finished second once and third three times from six starts over this distance. On best form shown, she may be the one to cause the upset.
Race 8
BRANDENBURG showed good signs of a form return in his last start over this distance on the Polytrack. He set the pace that day and stayed on nicely in the run down to the line. He has finished third in his only attempt over this C&D. If allowed to dictate his own matters, he should go close.
TRACK COMMANDER finished 0.7 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there should not be much separating the pair.
COROMANDEL finished 4.7 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights tonight and should finish closer as a result. He finished third in his only attempt on this course
