TAP O' NOTH produced a decent comeback run when finishing 4.55 lengths off Bunker Hunt over a distance short of his best. The son of Captain Al will enjoy the step up in distance today and it is encouraging that the blinkers get re-fitted for today's race. He should strip a much fitter horse this afternoon and may be the one to beat.

He has had a gallop on this course coming into this race and should come into this race fit and well. Anton Marcus rides from pole position and he should take a power of beating.

The son of Oratorio should be cherry-ripe this afternoon and with Khanya Sakayi taking off the 1.5kgs thanks to his apprentice claim, he should be the one to side with here.
