ZINIKELE ran on strongly when second over this C&D last time. The blinkers seem to have done the trick on the daughter of Gimmethegreenlight. Piere Strydom takes the ride and from a good draw of three, she can shed her maiden tag.

CAN’T CATCH ME has shown good improvement in each of her outings to date. She got going too late when second in male company last time. The daughter of Flower Alley will love the extra furlong on offer and back against her own sex, she is one of the leading contenders.

LA PURA VIDA was touched off on debut over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. The daughter of Pathfork would have come on from the run and will love the extra furlong on offer. With a bit of luck from her wide draw, she should be involved in the fight to the finish. 

Race 3

DUKE OF ROCK received a bump leaving the starting stalls on debut, but the manner in which he ran on at the finish was eye-catching. He was reported to be coughing post-race. The son of Duke Of Marmalade will love the extra furlong on offer and with the natural improvement that is expected, he can go one better.

SEE IT AGAIN has produced two decent efforts to date. He was running on when fourth over 1200m last time. Multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Twice Over is progressive and should be competitive.

MUSIC IS LIFE stayed on when fourth over 1400m last time. Piere Strydom does duty this afternoon and he may be able to get the best out of him where it matters most.

Race 4

PRINCE TYRION showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1400m on this course. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. He has won twice and finished second twice from seven starts over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and if confirming his recent improvement, he can return to winning ways.

CAPTAINOFTHEGREEN set the pace over 1400m last time and fought hard to shed his maiden tag. He does take on stronger company, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

TRADE WAR has been taking on stronger company in recent outings. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in his last outing has come out and won since. He does have the widest draw of fourteen to overcome, but Muzi Yeni should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

Race 5

SEA MASTER set his own fractions over 1750m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and held on where it matters most. He tries the 2300m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can follow up.

WITH PLEASURE ran a fair race in his last start over 1700m on the Polytrack. He finished 4.55 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate start. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

MONARCHY took the lead at the 200m mark last time and held on where it matters most. He tries the 2300m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

MASTER OF LAW should have finished much closer to the winner last time as he had no luck in the home straight. He was also reported to be coughing post-race. The son of Legislate will enjoy the rise to the mile and with a bit of luck, he may be the one to cause the upset.

MONEY HEIST was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag at the second time of asking. The manner in which he quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was impressive. He does take on stronger, but is lightly raced and has plenty of scope.

RED SOLE has produced three fair runs since winning his maiden over this C&D. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. The son of Master Of My Fate will be mowing down the frontrunners.

HARLEY’S FATE ran a decent race when fourth in her first run out of the maidens over 1200m on this course. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the rise to the mile. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of seven, she may be the one to beat.

MYSTERIOUS GIRL showed some signs of needing her comeback run over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She will strip a much fitter horse today and is one of the leading contenders.
