Race 1

FEELING GROOVY set the pace in her last start over 1400m on this course, but found one too good in the form of Girl Of Tregunter. The daughter of Canford Cliffs is a progressive type and will enjoy the rise to the mile. She jumps from a good draw of two and can go one better.

BRIGHT STAR showed very good improvement when finishing second over 1200m on the polytrack last time. Despite racing wide around the turn, she stayed on nicely at the business end. The daughter of Gold Standard should have no issues with the rise to the mile and she is one of the leading contenders.

DUCHESS OF GOLD showed signs of needing her comeback run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Hollywoodbets Greyville, four weeks ago. She is a progressive type and will strip much fitter. The daughter of Duke Of Marmalade may have more to come and can run into the placings.

Race 2

WICCAN WARRIOR was not disgraced when finishing fifth on debut over this distance in the Listed Gatecrasher Stakes. He lost a length at the start, but stayed on to finish fifth. It must be noted that Cousin Casey has come out and won a Grade 2 since. The son of Gimmethegreenlight would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the horse to beat.

FLEET COMMANDER produced a promising debut effort over this distance on the polytrack. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He would have come on from the run and is expected to be competitive.

ASPECT ran a fair race on debut over 1200m. He understandably raced green, but stayed on nicely at the finish. The son of Global View will love the extra furlong on offer and should make the natural progression.

Race 3

GIMME’S LADDIE produced a promising debut effort over this distance on the polytrack. He was slow into stride, but finished his race off strongly. The son of Gimmethegreenlight was reported to be coughing that day. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

SEATTLEGREENLIGHT showed good improvement when fourth over 1000m on the polytrack last time. He was carried outwards at the 250m mark that day. The son of Gimmethegreenlight gets the blinkers fitted for the first time and he will strip much fitter.

AMERICAN DREAM has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He returns from an 11-week break, during which time he was gelded. If not in need of this outing, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 4

UNITED PRINCE produced a typical second run after a rest over 1200m last time. He showed good speed, but did not go on with the effort. The son of The United States will enjoy the drop to 1000m and the blinkers should keep his mind on the task at hand. He will be at peak fitness and can shed his maiden tag.

WINTER PEARL has produced two encouraging efforts to date. He returns from a lengthy 36-week break, during which time he was gelded. Richard Fourie takes the ride on his return and if not in need of the run, he should be competitive.

NDAKA was a tad disappointing in his last start over this trip on the polytrack. He has finished second four times from seven starts over this C&D. Gareth Wright takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 5

SPECIAL CHARM ran a good race when second over 1600m at Turffontein last time. She raced from a handy position and found another kick in the closing stages. The daughter of Elusive Fort is lightly raced with plenty of scope and if seeing out the 2400m, she should be the horse to beat.

BRAVE VOYAGER is better than his last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will love the rise to 2400m. He gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time and from his good draw of two, he should pose a massive threat.

SEXY SHIRAZ’S last start can be ignored as she was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She runs well for Ashton Arries and the pair cannot be ignored.

Race 6

SPACE NEWS showed good signs of a form return in his last start over 1950m on this course. He raced from a handy position and stayed on at the business end. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

TWICE GOLDEN finished 4.1 lengths behind GALABIER last time. He is 9kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Two of his three career victories have come over this C&D and he may be the one to cause the upset.

SECRET GIVER finished 2.55 lengths behind GALABIER last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. He is carded to race on 06 July 2022 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 7

GOOD QUEEN BESS was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1200m on this course. She ran on powerfully and fought hard all the way to the line. She is back against her own sex and with a handy galloping mass of 54kgs, she can follow up.

LADY CATHERINE won a good race in her last start over this distance on the polytrack. It must be noted that Aunty Lizzy has come out and won since. She is having her first run on this course and if suited, she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

SLALOM QUEEN produced a fair comeback run over this distance at the Vaal. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She is carded to race on 07 July 2022 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.

Race 8

SIR POM was not disgraced when finishing fifth over this C&D against stronger company. He has won twice and finished second once from six starts over this C&D. The son of Pomodoro takes a drop in class and if putting his best foot forward, he can return to winning ways.

BLAZE OF SILK finished 1.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around. He shows good pace in his races and Richard Fourie may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

TWO OF US has decent consistent form lines to his credit. He drops to the 1000m for the first time and with 4kgs claiming apprentice Donald Geerthsen in the saddle, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 9

DIAFree R25 Sign Up Bonus. Need to open an account? Register hereMOND GIRL has very good consistent form lines to her credit. She finished 0.8 lengths behind MAGIC IN MOTION last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts on this course. She jumps from the inside draw and should notch up her fourth career victory.

MAGIC IN MOTION ran on from last when winning her last start over this distance on the polytrack. She is back on the turf and if repeating that effort, she can follow up.

INDIGO FIELDS showed good signs of a form return in her last start over 1000m on the polytrack. She lost a length at the start and finished her race off nicely. She takes a drop-in class and Richard Fourie may be able to get the best out of her
