It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. The daughter of Coup De Grace would have come on from the run and should enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural progression that is expected, she should win this.

GIRATORIO showed massive improvement in his last start over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he hung from the 300m mark. The son of Oratorio will be at home over the 1700m and can go one better here.

Race 4: TRAVELING WILBUR (13)

Jockey: Ferraris L - Trainer: Alexander G

TRAVELING WILBURY was her own worst enemy last time as she overraced in the early stages, but she still managed to find another kick in the closing stages. The daughter of Dynasty should have no problems with the extra distance on offer today and if switching off early, she should be the one to beat.

Race 7: ULULATE (4)

Jockey: Hewitson L - Trainer: Gray St John

ULULATE has very good consistent form lines to her credit. She should enjoy the drop back to the seven furlongs as she has won twice over 1450m. She takes a slight drop in class today and with Lyle Hewitson retaining the ride, she should be the one to beat.

Race 5: SMOKING HOT (2) 

Jockey: Kennedy W - Trainer: Dawson C

SMOKING HOT lost a length at the start last time, but got up where it matters most to get the better of Kayla's Dream. The drop back in distance should not pose a concern as she has finished second over a mile in the past. Warren Kennedy retains the ride and if jumping on terms, she can notch up her third career victory.
