DON’T TOUCH ME ran a good race when second in his last start over 1600m on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville. He moved up well, but found one too good in the form of Cape Eagle. The son of Var is having his first run on the Highveld and if settled into his new surroundings, he should run a big race.

VANDERBILT has been ultra-impressive in his last four victories, the latest of which was over this distance on the Standside course. He set the pace that day, found another kick and won with a ton in hand. The son of What A Winter takes another rise in class, but he is in a good space and can win again.
Race 6: FAR AWAY WINTER (7)
Jockey: D De Gouveia – Trainer: M G/A Azzie
FAR AWAY WINTER showed good pace over 1160m last time, but was outrun late by Tuscan Winter. He was reported to be fatigued post race. The son of What A Winter may be at his best over this distance at this stage of his career. He is having his peak run and has plenty of scope. Diego De Gouveia retains the ride and he should be hard to peg back.
