Warren Kennedy takes the ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be tough to beat.

THE EIGHTH LORD is one of the better bets on today's card. His last four starts have been good. He was his own worst enemy last time as he overraced in the early stages. The drop in trip will suit him well and if switching off early, he should be too good for this type of field.

BARAK won a good race last time when fitted with the blinkers. He raced from a handy position that day and fought hard all the way to the line. Sherman Brown is in very good form and the combination should find themselves in the winner's enclosure once again.

SPANISH BOY won a good race over six furlongs last time. That was his first start with the cheek pieces and the headgear remains fitted today. He drops to the minimum trip for the first time and will be mowing down the frontrunners in the run down to the line.
