LADY GREENSLEEVES stayed on when second over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. She finished fourth in her previous two efforts over this distance. If jumping on terms, she should earn another cheque for her patrons.

WILD AT WAR was his own worst enemy over 1450m last time as he over raced in the early stages and understandably lacked a finish in the straight. The son of Danon Platina will be ideally suited to this distance. Philasande Mxoli steps back into the saddle and he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
WILLOWILD stayed on when third over 1000m on the Classic course last time. The daughter of One World is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1200m. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
MESSALINA ran a fair race over 1160m at Turffontein last time. She is a progressive individual and in this field, can earn another cheque for her patrons.
Race 3
ULTIMISSIMO has shown improvement in her last two starts. She raced from just off the pace last time and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Fire Away is a progressive type and in this field, she can shed her maiden tag.
ACROSS THE POND finished 0.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

If getting away to a clean start, she should earn another cheque for her patrons.
Race 5
FUSHIMI INARI should have won his last start as he shifted away from the crop in the closing stages. He finished 0.5 lengths behind POSITIVE ATTITUDE that day and is 0.5kgs better off at the weights. There should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line. He has won once and finished second twice from as many starts on this course. With a bit of luck in running, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE won a game race in his last start over 2600m on the Turffontein Inside course. He meets a similar line-up this afternoon and merits healthy respect.

OCTOBER FAIR stayed on at the finish over this distance last time, but found one too good in the form of Mighty Goddess. She has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. The daughter of Silvano will strip a much fitter horse today and she can go one better.
A PLACE IN THE SUN was an easy winner of her last start over 1800m on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Two of her three career victories have come over this distance and she merits healthy respect.
FLAMBOYANT FLYER ran a good race when second in her first run for the Craig Mayhew stable. She will love the step up to the mile and should run a big race.
Race 7
FULLY LOADED is a winner of his last two starts, the latest of which was over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. Despite his big mass of 62kgs, he can notch up the hat-trick.
NORDIC REBEL was given a peach of a ride to bring up his 12th career victory. He has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. He is clearly in a good space and merits healthy respect.
WHORLY WHORLY has good recent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that Mid Winter Wind has come out and won again since. He will strip a much fitter horse today and must be included in all bets.
Race 8
ALABAMA ANNA has good consistent form lines to her credit. She took the lead at the 250m mark last time before getting caught in the shadow of the post by Duenna. All four of her career victories have come on this course. She faces stronger but is in a good space and may be rewarded for consistency.
WINGS WITHIN ME showed good speed over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course last time. It is encouraging that Denis Schwarz steps back into the saddle and she is one of the leading contenders.
RUNWAY BOMB produced a typical second run after a rest last time. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. She is having her peak run today and cannot be ignored.
Race 9
DUKE OF ROCK ran on strongly when winning his stable debut over 1160m at Turffontein. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this C&D. The 4yo gelding is in a good space and can follow up.
SIBERIAN STEEL was a tad disappointing in his last start over 1160m at Turffontein. His form prior to that outing was good. If putting his best foot forward, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
KINSHIN SHA was in need of his comeback run over 1000m on the Turffontein Inside course. He has finished second three times from four starts over this C&D. He will strip much fitter and can return to best form.
Race 10
ODE TO THE OCEAN showed improvement in her last start over 1400m at Turffontein. The daughter of What A Winter faced much stronger opposition that day. She has dropped to a competitive rating and back in Handicap Company, she may be the one to cause the upset.
RADU ran a fair race over 1600m in her last outing before given a 13-week break. She would have freshened up in her time off the track and should have no issues with the drop to 1200m. If not in need of this outing, she can show.
