This is a weak Maiden Plate for the girls. AMBERGLO STAR is still a maiden after 24 starts, but has some decent recent form to her credit. She found one too good in the form of Southern Song last time. In this line-up, she should shed her maiden tag.

DON'T LOOK BACK was not disgraced when finishing third in the Listed Aquanaut Handicap last time. He lost a length at the start that day, but stayed on nicely at the finish. He is unbeaten from two starts on this course and will be looking to keep that record intact.

MASTER AND MAN showed very good signs of a form return in his last start over this C&D. He raced from a handy position and tried hard all the way to the line. It must be noted that the form of that race has worked out well. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this distance. He jumps from pole position and may be the one to side with.
