ManCity StadiumMore Uefa Champions League matches take place on Wednesday night when our focus is on the games between Manchester City and Inter and Club Brugge v Dortmund

Wednesday's coupon features six more matches with Man City, PSG, Dortmund and Inter the biggest of the guns in action.

Man City 11/20 Draw 3.25/1 Inter 51/10

City were crowned champions in 2023 when they beat Wednesday's opponents Inter 1-0 in the final. Last season they cruised through the group stage and the Round of 16 but a thrilling quarter final match up with eventual champions Real Madrid went all the way to spot kicks and City bowed out. City are the only side in the EPL to boast a 100% record, winning each of their first 4 matches. Haaland has scored 9 of their 11 league goals so far including 2 hat tricks and at the weekend they will face off with Arsenal.

Inter were eliminated from last season's UCL at the quarter final stage, losing 3-2 on aggregate to Atletico. After 4 rounds of Serie A matches Inter are unbeaten with 2 wins and 2 draws. Both their road trips ended in score draws, at Genoa and Monza whilst home games delivered wins over Lecce (2-0) and Atalanta (4-0).

The Verdict

It's hard to argue with City's early season form and especially that of Haaland. I'm with the home side to score 2 or 3 in their multi goals market.

Bets: Home team multi goals 2-3 at 21/20 with BoyleSports

Club Brugge 2.65/1 Draw 5/2 Dortmund 11/10

Brugge return to the UCL and their recent domestic form is decent, winning 4 straight matches to recover from a poor start which had seen them take 1 point from their first 3. They came up against Dortmund in the 2020/21 group stage and lost both matches 3-0.

Dortmund were runners up in the UCL last season, losing the final to Real Madrid 2-0. They came through the toughest of groups before seeing off PSV, Atletico and PSG in the knockout rounds. Dortmund have played 3 rounds of Bundesliga matches, winning 2 and drawing the other. They won home games against Frankfurt (2-0) and Heidenheim (4-2) either side of a 0-0 draw away to Werder Bremen.

The Verdict

Given the strength of the comparative domestic leagues I'm surprised to see odds against for Dortmund but Brugge are something of an unknown to me and I will respect the market makers.

I am going with a Dortmund player to score “anytime” though and the impressive Karim Adeyemi, who was on target twice in the most recent league game, gets my vote.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Karim Adeyemi at 2.55/1 with BoyleSports
