EFL Cup on Tuesday, Spurs v Chelsea

goodforthegame.co.za/English-Football/sp...betting-preview.html

Quiet week so thought I'd throw in this preview but Chelsea/Chelsea HT/FT is little more than speculation that they might field the stronger line up.

Tottenham v Chelsea

Excellent calls over the weekend, Vann. Mourinho has said " I'd like to go for the League Cup, but don't think that I can ", which suggests he will be focusing on the Europa League. Mackems call looks decent and I reckon the 10/11 for Chelsea will shorten.

Spurs v Chelsea
As expected Chelsea going with 80% of the first team and Spurs with barely 50%. The thing is - WBA put three past the full Chelsea first team - lets face it chaps - Frank knows buggerall about defending. No harm in a little

Port Adelaide vs Geelong

This is one of the play-offs and it takes place in Adelaide and they'll have spectators.

Port Adelaide have been on top of the ladder since Round 1 and they have a great record at home, 6-1.
They have been the most consistent team all year, finishing every round on top of the ladder.

In round 12 however, back in August, Geelong demolished them 91-31, but the match was played on the Gold Coast (neutral venue) and under restrictions.

At home, though, Port Adelaide are a different beast.

I'll take a multi bet made up of the following:
Mitch Duncan (Geelong) 15+ disposals. He only had once less than that this season, and that time he came off the ground injured.
Tom Hawkins (Geelong) any time goal scorer. He has kicked at least 2 goals in nine of Geelong's last 10 matches.
Charlie Dixon (Port Adelaide) any time goal scorer. He has kicked at least 2 goals in each of Port Adelaide's last five matches at the Adelaide Oval.

Bet 1: Port Adelaide win @1.75
Bet 2: Winning margin - Port Adelaide 1-39 @1.95
Bet 3: Mitch Duncan to get 15 or more disposals + Tom Hawkins any time goal scorer + Charlie Dixon any time goal scorer @2.00

Brisbane Lions vs Richmond Tigers

This is one of the play-off matches.

Richmond have been beating Brisbane continuously for 15 years or so.
During the regular season they played on the Gold Coast (neutral venue), but still in Queensland, where Brisbane is, and Richmond destroyed them 82-41. However, the Lions had more scoring shots, 22-21, but they missed the target, scoring 1-pointers instead of 6-pointers.

The Lions would have corrected some of their scoring issues, but when facing Richmond their mental block kicks in.

They have had two weeks since the end of the regular season, to work on that.
There will not be a better time than now to beat the Tigers. They play at home, spectators are allowed, they should be pumped up for this.

Richmond are the defending champions and they are very good, they lifted their game and form at the right time coming into finals.

Brisbane dominated them when they met on the Gold Coast two months ago, but missed like crazy. They should take that and make it better now that they play at home.

I'll take a multi too, as follows:
Jack Graham to get 15+ disposals - His last six games have been outstanding since returning to the team, averaging 18 possessions per game.
Jarryd Lyons to get 15+ disposals - he generally has more than 20.
Jack Riewoldt - anytime goal scorer - he sores like every game, sometimes more than 2 goals per game.

Bet 1: Brisbane +3.5 @1.80, sportsbet.com.au
Bet 2: Jack Graham 15+ disposals + Jarryd Lyons 15+ disposals + Jack Riewoldt anytime goal scorer @1.88, sportsbet.com.au

St Kilda vs Western Bulldogs

The match is played at a neutral venue.

Both teams are high scoring.

St Kilda limped into the play-offs, with 3 defeats in their last 5, although they did trash Greater Western Sydney in the last game of the regular season.

The Bulldogs came into the play-offs with big momentum, as they won their last 3, including title favourites West Coast Eagles.

These two teams finished with the same number of points, 40, and although St Kilda beat the Bulldogs by 39 points way back in round 2, the Bulldogs have now got most of their team back together fit and firing.

Bontempelli has had 20+ disposals in 7 of his last 8 games, and 10 of his last 12.
Jack MacRae has recorded 26+ disposals in 11 of the Western Bulldogs' last 12 matches.
Jack Steele has recorded 21+ disposals in 13 of St Kilda's last 14 matches.

Bet 1: Either team to win by 19 or less @1.83, sportsbet.com.au
Bet 2: Over 122.5 points @1.88, sportsbet.com.au
Bet 3: Bontempelli 15+ disposals + Jack MacRae 25+ disposals + Jack Steele 20+ disposals @2.20, sportsbet.com.au

West Coast Eagles vs Collingwood

This is a play-off match played in Perth, home of the Eagles.

The Eagles won all their matches at their stadium, by big margins too. They also beat Collingwood when they met here just over two months ago, by a huge 11 goals difference, 111-45.

They score big numbers at this stadium too.

Collingwood have been struggling against top opposition. They finished on the last play-off spot, while the Eagles finished 5th equal on points with 4th.

I'll also take a same game multi with players getting more than 15 disposals. I chose three players who regularly get more than 15, even more than 20 disposals per game.

Bet 1: Eagles -10.5 @1.80, bet365
Bet 2: Total Points Over 107.5 @1.88, sportsbet.com.au
Bet 3: Jack Crisp + Liam Duggan + Josh Daicos each to get 15 or more disposals @2.05, sportsbet.com.au
