A-League
Perth Glory vs Central Coast Mariners
Perth Glory must bounce back tonight. They keep missing chances and lose games on home ground. That bad run must end and they are determined to end the bad run tonight.
It’s worth noting that Central Coast does not travel well, with the Mariners losing their past six away fixtures.
While both teams will rue the poor performances from last weekend, the Glory will be desperate to get a win in front of their home crowd and tonight’s game presents as their best chance to do it.
With the league being quite tight, a win tonight will lift them from the bottom to 8th and within reach of the play-offs.
Plenty to play for.
Bet: Perth -0.25 @2.15

Adelaide vs WS Wanderers
Adelaide are third now after winning three in a row. The thing is they have a habit of scoring their winners late in the game.
The Wanderers beat Sydney 2-0 and then lost to Macarthur 1-3, and couldn't build momentum.
The matches between these two sides see goals at both ends, and in Adelaide, the Wanderers have not lost for many years now.
Also, the matches between these two teams produce many cards and corners, and this ref has 5.5 cards per game this year.
The Wanderers have plenty to play for, as they have to take something from this game in order to stay close in the fight for play-offs.
The weather is rainy in Adelaide, which should help the visitors.

Bet 2: BTTS Yes & Over 2.5 goals @1.80

Guys - I like Frank. Wonderful player, no rogering someone else's partner, no hand balling the missus, no Tik Tok pet kicking contests. He is just not a footie manager. His first match at Everton was against tonights opponents and he lost 3-1. When he took over Everton were 19 points from 20 matches and Newcastle were 15 points from 21 matches. Eddie Howe has Newcastle at 31 from 28 matches and Everton are 22 from 26. The favorite tonight should be Newcastle. There are very few 1-0 scores in Eddie Howe's managerial career so taking the better odds on

Perth Glory vs Brisbane Roar
Perth have gone 6 matches without a win including last three consecutive home games. In the last two they didn't score, even though they dominated and had many big chances.
They are now bottom of the ladder.
Brisbane Roar aren't doing much better, as they are sitting just above Perth, one point difference.
Perth's Fornaroli has recently gained Australian citizenship and has been called up to the Australian team for their World Cup qualifiers against Japan and Saudi Arabia. This is a first for him, so I expect him to be fired up and score tonight, especially after missing a penalty in Perth's 0-0 against the Mariners last time out.

City are the most prolific team in the league, with 38 goals in 18 matches, while Victory are on a good scoring run themselves, with 7 goals in their last 3 matches.
Also, City's defence is leaky, having conceded 26 goals.

Villa v Arsenal
Villa are on and off defensively so hoping for a slightly off day today. Watford with one goal and Leeds with three have scored here recently. Not a great looking Arsenal line-up but Saka and Smith Rowe good enough to do the business
