okay 1 early fancy on price before i head out -

T4 River Quararres @ 16/1 ew.
First run for Tarry yard who are here for the big days like today, Fourie an eye-catching booking, plum 1 draw. Has had a break but been taking on the top boys in age-group and i think if fit can feature today.

Hoping the weather plays along today, as some really nice horses running today.

Race 1 - Lovers Lane @ 14/1 (HWB) & Brave Viking @ 33/1 (HWB)
Lovers Lane - Top jock up, 1st 3 runs were decent and put a line through last as dont think saw out. Yes a couple of short priced favs but and 2 more than decent 1st times, but like this one.
Brave Viking - Was on him first time and beaten by an above average. Gets top jock in GVN up and will hopefully have improved.
I have taken a boxed Trifcta - 3/6/7/11/12

Race 2 - Wild Forever @ 33/1 (WSB)
Think 1st timer on betting looks hard to beat, but will take some of this on Stable/Jock form. 11 runs for 9 places and 6 wins. Yes on breeding doesnt seem much but you never know.

Race 3 - Follow Me @ 10/1
On previous run behind Bon Viant beat him by 1.5 and now getting 2Kgs more. Also C & D

Race 4 - None Other @ 16/1
A couple of excellent runs behind Mahranee and seems to prefer Standside. Think fav will be hard to beat but think this race is a lot more open than betting suggests
Also like a bit of Gimme a Shot but will see what happens to price.

Race 5 - Royal Victory @ 7/1 & Argo Alley @ 33/1
Argo Alley - 2 excellent runs on the course well drawn. Stable seems to pop up sometimes.

Race 6 - Constable @ 7/1
Holds the fav on last run, know can be inconsistent but definitely worth ago, even for places.

Race 7 - Puerto Manzano @ 20/1 & Willow Express @ 50/1

Race 9 - Jaimala @ 15/2

Hoping Royal Victory comes in for Mackem and your punts are profitable.

Lol, someone lost some money today, besides the 2 favs in Race 1, both of my 2 were backed in huge, Lovers Lane backed into 7/2 @ start and Brave Viking into 11/1 was the lowest I saw, but the 100/1 comes home comfortable.

Connections of runner up dreadfully unlucky, couldn’t find a gap 200 out.

Missed most day sadly as was out longer than expected.

Last race Cornish Pomodoro to surprise @ 14/1 ew.

Some nice racing in Cape today, making a change from Greyville. But think will be as tought as KZN.

Race 2 - Treasure Hunt @ 4/1
Is very consistent sort, hoping for another good run.

Race 3 - Crimson Wings @ 40/1 (WSB)
Heard some talk about fav, but this one is nicely bred and should be better than last run. Will like the extra I think.

Race 4 - Dream Spirit @ 16/1 / Ana in Seattle @ 40/1 / Moonlite Night @ 50/1
Dream Spirit - Based on comments from Stable, saying expecting improvement and running into places.
Ana in Seattle - Half sister to Bezanova and on bredding looks like looking for this distance as minimum.
Moonlite Night - Same as above, well bred and looking like wants this distance.
All small and weighted to places.

Race 6 - Fort Red @ 16/1 / Fearless Trip @ 33/1 (WSB)
Fort red - Had some really good sprint races when dropped back to sprints.
Fearless Trip - If you ignore the 2 trips over 1400m, has looked decent over sprints and over 1200m, placed 4 from 5 and won once. Looks like some decent sorts up and coming, but cant get hurt at that price.

Race 8 - Big Slick @ 10/1 (WSB) & Heart Stealer @ 20/1
