TEATIME TIPPLE has finished second in his last three starts. He showed good speed last time, but found one too good in the form of Spirit Of Abraham. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
TRIPPI T returns from a lengthy 52-week break and is having his first run in KZN. He brings some decent Western Cape form lines with him. If fit, he should earn a cheque for his patrons.
Race 2
KUMEMORI should have won his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville as he hung in the closing stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The son of Gold Standard is fitted with the blinkers for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. Richard Fourie is booked to ride from pole position and he can shed his maiden tag.
FUTURE SAINT showed good improvement over 1200m on this course. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. The son of Futura is progressive and will love the rise to 1400m. With luck in running, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.
HELSINKI ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. With luck in running, he should be involved in the fight to the finish once again.
Race 3
NTOMBENHLE has some fair recent form lines to her credit. She stayed on at the finish over 1700m last time. The daughter of Noble Tune has finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. In this field, she may be the one to beat.
JOAN THE WAD had to overcome a wide draw in her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She finished 0.25 lengths behind the top choice in her penultimate run. She is 2kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
MADAME POMPADOUR produced some fair form lines before given a 15-week break. Richard Fourie rides on her return and if not in need of the run, she can feature.

SHAKEN NOT STIRRED set the pace over this C&D last time, but was outrun late by Baby On Board. She has finished second six times and third once from eight starts over this C&D. Sean Veale is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome the widest draw without using up too much energy.
PREDATOR’S FEAST took on stronger company in her last start. The daughter of New Predator is dropping in the ratings. She gets the services of Richard Fourie and can improve in this field. She is carded to race on 01 January 2024 and her progress in that race will need to be monitored.
Race 5
PETIT VERDOT was doing her best work at the finish when second over 1400m in the Non-Black Type River Indigo Handicap last time. She has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this C&D. She jumps from pole position and if keeping on a straight line, she should be the one to beat.
CRAZY BLUES ran a decent race when third over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She has won twice from five starts over this C&D. With a bit of luck in running, she can feature.
SEA GODDESS won a game race over 1900m on the turf last time. She finished 3.2 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. She is only 0.5kgs better off at the weights today which is not enough for the tables to be turned.

SHOEFELLA showed some signs of a form return last time. Despite over racing in the early stages, the manner in which he ran on at the business end was encouraging. JOSEPHINE’S PRIDE finished 1.7 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

HIPPOCRATES has good consistent form lines to his credit. He showed good speed over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and stayed on to finish second. He has won three times and finished third once from six starts over this C&D. He is drawn widest of all but gets the services of Sean Veale who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
PURPLE OPERATOR raced wide around the turn last time and he understandably lacked a finish in the straight. He has won twice and finished second five times from nine starts over this C&D. From his good draw of three, he can go close.
PURPLE POWAHOUSE showed good pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, but found one too good in the form of Intrepid. He does take a rise in class but carries a handy galloping mass of 53kgs and should be up to the task at hand.

GIAMBATTISTA was running on when having to overcome a wide draw in his last start over this distance on the turf. He has won twice, finished second twice and third once from twelve starts over this C&D. He has dropped to a competitive rating and may be the one to side with.
MAGWINYA finished 0.05 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate run. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.
GLOBAL SECRET cost herself winning last time as she hung in the closing stages. She has won twice, finished second once and third once from nine starts over this C&D. She is likely to race on the speed from pole position and should give the males a run for their money
