TOUR DE FRANCE

Stage 10 of the Tour de France takes place today and it looks a straight forward stage with the sprinters teams almost certain to bring things back together for a bunch finish.

Groenewegen the winner of stage 7 is the market leader at 22/10 ahead of Ewan at 5/2 and Viviani at 7/2. Green Jersey Sagan is the only other rider quoted in single figures and he is 11/2 at the time of writing.

The latest outright betting has Geraint Thomas 1/1, Egan Bernal 9/2, Thibaut Pinot 7/1 and you can get 16/1 and better the balance.

There is still plenty of climbing to come in this year’s Tour de France and it won’t be an easy race for any one team to control.  There may well be value in backing some of the cyclists priced as high as 25/1 and 33/1 in Nairo Quintana and Richie Porte respectively.
