WSB150Lewis Hamilton continued his domination of the season as well as the British Grand Prix when he stormed to victory at the Silverstone Racetrack last week. Bad news for his opponents is that this weekend 70th Anniversary Grand Prix also takes place at the Silverstone Circuit.

Max Verstappen showed some improved form to finish 2nd in his Red Bull racing Honda and Charles Leclerc bagged some valuable points for Ferrari finishing 3rd.

The Drivers Championship as well as the Constructors Championship look like they are race over already and Lewis Hamilton is now as short as 1/12 to retain his Drivers Title.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO HAMILTON

There is no history to go on in this race as this 70th year commemoration race is a once off. We don’t have to go far for course form though and not ONLY did Hamilton win last week, but he has now won 6 of the last 7 races at the Silverstone Circuit.

Looking at the betting for this race Hamilton is 7/20 for the win, a far cry from the 9/10 we could get on him earlier in the season as well as the 5/10 available last week FOR THE British GP. Even with the Money Back Special from World Sports Betting I am reluctant to take that price and will look elsewhere for a betting interest.

BET: Fastest Qualifier/Fastest Lap and Race Winner, Any Driver, YES, at 7/4

Last week Hamilton finished in pole and he was the winning driver, but it was Max Verstappen who got the fastest lap and I am happy to take a price of 7/4 that Hamilton (it doesn’t have to be him but let’s be realistic here) completes the clean sweep this time round just as he did in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

BET: Esteban Ocon Points Finish, YES, at 4/6

Ocon impressed last week with his 6th place finish and I fancy another solid performance from the Renault.
