BettingDiaryPunters are in for a treat this week with midweek English Premier League and there are also plenty of other betting options on Tuesday which we take a closer look at in our Daily Diary.

FOOTBALL

There are 6 EPL matches on Tuesday and while all eyes will be on Arsenal up against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge there are also some big battles in the relegation race with Aston Villa at home to Watford and Bournemouth at home to Brighton.

Most eyes will be on Chelsea v Arsenal though and Chelsea are the 8/10 favourites with the draw 59/20 and the Gunners 69/20. Chelsea have been a bit erratic of late but sit 4th in the table, 10 points above Arsenal who have only won once in their last 5. Chelsea beat Arsenal on the road earlier in the season and last season they won this fixture 3-2. It is really hard to look past the home win here at 8/10.

CRICKET

Test cricket takes a break for a few days, but there is still Under 19 Cricket World Cup action with India up against Japan. It is no surprise to see India 1/1000 favourites with Japan on offer at 20/1 and given the one-sided betting nature, punters may want to wait and see who wins the toss and who chooses to bat first or is sent in, before getting involved in the Exotic Markets.

There is just the one game in the Big Bash League on Tuesday with the Melbourne Renegades 8/10 to see off the Hobart Hurricanes who are 21/20.

The Renegades were convincing winners of their last match against the Brisbane Heat and the Hobart Hurricanes lost their last game failing to chase down 187 against the Adelaide Strikers.

The Renegades sit bottom of the table, but they have won 2 on the trot and the Hurricanes are just 1 spot above them in 7th and are without a win in their last 5. The Renegades seem to have some momentum and we fancy them at 8/10.

CYCLING

Early risers can watch the Tour Down Under where Caleb Ewan will be looking for stamp his sprint authority and is priced at 14/10 favourite ahead of Sam Bennett who is 2/1, Elia Viviani is priced at 33/10 in what does look a 3 horse race and if we were to pick we would give a slight edge to Bennett who is getting used to his new team
