There is plenty of sporting action taking place this weekend and in our Diary covering Saturday and Sunday’s live sporting events we take a look at some of the options available to punters.
FOOTBALL
The Absa Premiership gets going on the weekend and there are a couple of mouth-watering opening clashes to look forward to.
Sundowns are currently 15/20 at home to their neighbours SuperSport who are 4/1 and also on Saturday Orlando Pirates, who many fancy to win the title are 7/10 against Bloem Celtic who are 9/2.
Sundowns, by the way, are 15/10 favourites for the PSL, with Pirates 28/10, 7/10 Wits, 10/1 Kaizer Chiefs and you can get 12/1 and better the balance.

RUGBY, CURRIE CUP
There are two Currie Cup matches taking place on Saturday with the Pumas at home to the Sharks and the Blue Bulls at home to Griquas.
The Pumas are (+8.5) points and they are still searching for their first victory of the season. In the late kick-off the Blue Bulls are 4/10 at home to Griquas who were thumped by the Free State last week although the Bulls did take a hammering at home to the Free State the week before. The Blue Bulls are (-6.5) points and for those who fancy a Griquas upset victory you can get 21/10 at the time of writing.

CRICKET
The first Ashes test continues on Saturday and there is updated betting at the end of each day’s play as well as in-running betting so there is plenty of opportunities to get involved.

The start of the English Premier League is just around the corner and fans get an appetizer on Sunday when Liverpool take on Manchester City in the Community Shield.

MOTORSPORT
Motorsport fans are in for a treat this weekend with the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Czech Republic MotoGP taking place on Sunday.
Lewis Hamilton is currently a 23/20 favourite to win in Hungary ahead of Max Verstappen at 53/20 and there are plenty of markets available including backing a driver to finish Top 6 or Top 10.

Marc Marquez has been the dominant rider once again in MotoGP and this is reflected in his price to win the Czech Grand Prix where he is 15/20 ahead of Dovizioso at 9/2. Maverick Vinales is showing signs of returning to his best at 17/2 with the veteran Rossi and Fabio Quartararo both priced at just under 10/1.
