He has fought 23 times, winning an astonishing 21 and losing just 1 with the remaining fight ending in a no contest. It is important to note that he has fought in 16 title fights in a row since his first one in 2011 without losing one.

Lightweight Co-Main Event:
Charles Oliveira is a talented Brazilian fighter who is known for his dangerous grappling and effective striking. He made his debut in 2010 and since then he has made a name for himself, fighting at the top of the division over the past few years.
His form has gone slightly down hill recently but despite that he has still won 4 of his last 6 fights, with 4 of them being title fights of which he has won 3. His most recent fight took place in April where he lost to Arman Tsarukyan by split decision.
Michael Chandler, fighting out of America is a talented striker and wrestler who is well respected in the octagon. He fought most of his career under the Bellator MMA organisation, where he was very successful and only transitioned to the UFC in 2021. Since then, he has fought just 5 times however, each fight has been amongst the top of the division, where he has won 2 and lost 3.
Chandlers one and only title fight was against Oliveira in 2021 where he lost by round 2 TKO. His most recent fight was against Dustin Poirier in November 2022, where Chandler could not get the job done losing by round 3 submission.
