CIRYL GANE VS. SERGHEI SPIVAC
Heavyweight Main Event:
Ciryl Gane is a French fighter who is well known for his striking, not just because of the number of punches he lands but also because of the power behind each one. Gane is also relatively agile for a heavyweight fighter, and he has managed to avoid being knocked out through his dodging skills even when being in the octagon with some of the biggest hitters in the UFC such as Francis Ngannou and Derick Lewis.
Gane is however not as strong on the ground, and he is coming off a round 1 submission loss to Jon Jones in a Title Fight. Gane has the stopping power to win this fight and move back into title contention and he will look to end the fight early before it reaches the ground.
Serghei Spivac is a Moldavian fighter who is extremely good at wrestling on the canvas as well as landing big punches. Spivac enters this bout on a 3-fight win streak with 2 of his wins by KO/TKO and his most recent win by Submission against Derick Lewis in round 1. On the other hand, Spivac’s most recent loss was a round 1 TKO defeat to Tom Aspinall. I would expect Gane to take the same attacking strategy as Aspinall in going for an early finish which will make this fight a great watch.
Spivac enters this bout as the underdog, and he will certainly look to take this fight to the floor of the octagon if he is to stand a chance at winning.

Gane (6/10)
Spivac (14/10)
Prediction:
I predict that regardless of Spivac’s attempts to take Gane to the floor, Gane will come out firing and land some massive blows on Spivac early eventually leading to a Gane win by TKO in round 2.
MANON FIOROT VS. ROSE NAMAJUNAS
Flyweight Bout:
Manon Fiorot is a French fighter who possesses a karate fighting style. Since entering the UFC in 2021, Fiorot has won all 5 of her fights, 2 by TKO and 3 by unanimous decision. She has also been named as one of the best prospects in the Flyweight division and she enters this fight with a slight betting advantage over Namajunas.
Fiorot will be hungry for another win to take her closer to a division title shot in the future.
Rose Namajunas is an American fighter who has held the Strawweight Title multiple times in her career. She fights using Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and she has won most of her fights via submission. Namajunas has been at the top of the Strawweight division for a while and 6 of her last 7 fights have been title fights where she won 4 and lost 2 of them.
Namajunas has decided to leave her comfort zone and move up into the Flyweight division, where she makes her debut this weekend.

Fiorot (11/20)
Namajunas (15/10)
Prediction:
I believe that although Namajunas enters the fight as the underdog, she will defy the betting odds and shock Fiorot with a debut win in the Flyweight division via decision.
BENOIT SAINT-DENIS VS. THIAGO MOISES
Lightweight Bout:
Saint-Denis is a French fighter who is well rounded and is known for his grappling and striking. Since losing his debut fight in the UFC by decision, he has got on track with 3 wins in a row, 2 by submission and 1 by TKO. Denis will enter this fight as the slight favourite.
Moises is the slightly more experienced fighter, he fights out of Brazil, and he is known for his skills in grappling and wrestling. He has won 3 of his last 5 fights with his 2 most recent wins being by submission.

Saint-Denis (8/13)
Moises (11/8)
Prediction:
Although Saint-Denis enters the fight as the favourite, he will have to be very careful of Moises’ submissions. I predict that Saint-Denis will be able to avoid submission and win in round 3 by TKO.
