Newcastle 29/10 Draw 5/2 Arsenal evens

Newcastle made progress in the Carabao up in midweek but they are 5 games without a win the league and that run of 2 defeats and 2 draws has seen them slide down to mid table.

Arsenal are third, 4 points behind Liverpool and 5 shy of Manchester City. They played out a 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool last weekend and their most recent road trip ended in a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth when they were reduced to 10 men in the first half. The Gunners won 3-0 at Preston in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

The Verdict

Arsenal still have a few players on the injured list and Newcastle are also missing a few defenders so I'm shying away from the match result but siding with Kai Havertz to score any time.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Kai Havertz at 2.35/1 with BoyleSports

Bournemouth 9/2 Draw 31/10 Man City 0.62/1

Bournemouth are in a tough run of fixxtures but they are handling them well. The 2-0 home win over Arsenal was followed by a very useful point in a 1-1 draw at Villa last weekend and they remain in mid table.

City have a crippling injury list and their team news will be worth monitoring after their Carabao Cup exit at Spurs in midweek. They remain unbeaten in the league and the UCL although their 3 most recent league games, at home to Fulham and Southampton and away at Wolves all came by a single goal margin.

The Verdict

Pep mentioned City were down to 13 fit players in midweek, whether that situation changes come matchday will be worth a second look but I'm sticking with Foden to pop up with a goal.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Phil Foden at 2.65/1 with BoyleSports

Ipswich 13/10 Draw 24/10 Leicester 22/10

Ipswich went down 4-3 at Brentford last weekend and they remain on 4 points, all earned from draws. The are still chasing that elusive first win and they are now third from bottom in the standings.

Leicester lost 3-1 at home to Forest last time out but they did win their previous 2 outings, 3-2 at Southampton and 1-0 at home to Bournemouth and they have 9 points against their name.

The Verdict

Another tricky one in terms of the match result but a chance is taken on the home side to score 2 or more goals.

Bets: Home team goals over 1.5 at 1.03/1 with BoyleSports

Liverpool 9/20 Draw 3.95/1 Brighton 61/10

Liverpool's draw at Arsenal saw them lose top spot to Man City but they are going strong in all competitions and have lost just once all season.

Brighton had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home to Wolves last weekend but they won their previous 2 matches, 3-2 at home to Spurs and 1-0 at Newcastle and can be found in a very handy sixth position.

The Verdict

Brighton can be a handful on their day but I'm with Liverpool to chalk up another win although the visitors can contribute to the scoring.

Bets: Combo, home win and both teams to score? (yes) at 1.61/1 with BoyleSports

Notts Forest 12/10 Draw 2.35/1 West Ham 5/2

With a record of 4 wins, 4 draws and just the 1 defeat Forest finished he previous round in seventh position. Their only defeat came at home to Fulham (1-0) and in their most recent home game they beat Palace by the same scoreline.

West Ham rode their luck and then found a late winner at home to Man United last week, a third win of the season alongside 2 draws and 4 defeats.

The Verdict

Forest have been very solid, West Ham have been hard to catch right and the draw is a big runner in my book.

Bets: Match result draw at 2.35/1 with BoyleSports

Southampton 17/10 Draw 23/10 Everton 1.73/1

Southampton remain rock bottom with just 1 point from 9 matches. They were expected to be on a hiding at Manchester City last week but only lost 1-0 but positives are hard to find.

Everton are unbeaten in 5, a run of 2 wins and 3 draws and that is in stark contrast to earlier in the season which started with 4 straight defeats.

The Verdict

Southampton have passed up similar opportunities to get that first win and thoogh I'm tempted by Everton on the board preference is for both teams to score in a game of 3 goals or more in total.

Bets: Combo Total goals and both teams to score, over 2.5 and yes at 1.13/1 with BoyleSports

Wolves 1.62/1 Draw 9/4 Crystal Palace 1.84/1

Wolves picked up just their second point of the season with a 2-2 draw at Brighton last weekend. They were only undone at the death of their most recent home game when Manchester City found a late winner, the table doesn't read well at second from bottom but those last 2 performances offer encouragement.

Palace are fourth from bottom with just 6 points but their 1-0 home win over Spurs last weekend was their first 3 point haul of the campaign and offers them something to build on.

The Verdict

Wolves have yet to win but Palace have taken just 1 point from 4 road trips and the home side should fancy their chances here. That said Palace come into the game on the back of an excellent win over Spurs and I could make a case for both sides.

I've had success with Matheus Cunha in the goal scorer markets and will stick with him here.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Matheus Cunha at 2/1 with BoyleSports
