BettingDiaryWe take a look at Tuesday’s sports and horse racing highlights from a betting angle in our Daily Diary.

CRICKET

New Zealand hold an unassailable 2-0 lead going into the 3rd ODI against India, but the visitors remain favourites at 8/13 to win the match with New Zealand on offer at 27/20. There are a wide range of markets available on the match including a 100 to be scored, YES at 6/10 and NO at 13/10 and if you fancy Virat Kohli to go well, you can get him as Top Away Batsman at 12/5.

FOOTBALL

There are 2 Nedbank Cup Round of 32 matches taking place on Tuesday night and Polokwane are at home to fellow top flight side, Baroka.

Polokwane started the season in such promising fashion, but they have slumped to sit bottom of the PSL table, 3 positions below Baroka who are 3 points ahead of them with both having played 21 matches.

Polokwane are 13/10 to win this one with the draw 2/1 and Baroka 49/20 and based on current form we would have to say there is some value with the away side here.

The other match sees Zizwe United, even money at home to Happy Wanderers who are 26/10 with the draw at 5/2.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack, an 8 race card starting at 12:35 and finishing at 16:40.

Horse No. 3 in the 1st Race, Leprechaun will have plenty of punters money on him and is currently priced at 8/10 for the win. Looking further down the card there are a number of relatively firm favourites and it may pay to banker Sir Frenchie in the 7th Race, the penultimate leg of the Pick Six currently priced at 17/20. Looking at the betting on the last leg of the Pick Six you certainly want to have some coverage here as we are betting 5/1 the field.
