BettingDiaryThere is just the one English Premier League match taking place on Saturday and it features relegated Norwich up against Burnley. We take a look at the game and suggest a bet.

NORWICH v BURNLEY

Norwich have lost 8 matches in a row and they are bottom of the table and guaranteed to come last. They put in one of their best performances in some time when they lost 1-0 at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea last time out, but they now have only scored 1 goal in their last 8 matches.

Their last home game was a 4-0 hammering by West Ham and they haven't found the back of the net in their last 4 home games and have only won 4 times in 18 attempts at home this season. Norwich home games average 3 goals each with 11 of the 18 matches delivering for over 2.5 goal backers. Norwich themselves though are being outscored at almost 2 goals to 1 at home.

Burnley sit 10th on the table and after returning from the break and getting hammered 5-0 by Manchester City away they have had 3 wins and 3 draws including an injury time equaliser to draw 1-1 at home with Wolves last time out. Their last 6 matches have all had 2 goals or less in them and they have a decent record on the road winning 6, drawing 5 and losing 7 of their 18 matches. Burnley away games average 2.4 goals each with a 50% strike rate for both overs and under 2.5 goal backers, but the last 3 Burnley home games, as mentioned above, have all gone the way of unders backers.

Burnley beat Norwich 2-0 at home earlier this season and the sides also met in the FA Cup where Norwich beat Burnley 2-1 on the road.

Norwich 47/20

Draw 47/20

Burnley 5/4

Suggested Bet: Burnley win at 5/4

I took a long look at the goals market and under 2.5 goals, 7/10 certainly looks a big runner here with Norwich so ineffective in front of goal and Burnley playing quite a conservative game at the moment. In the end I think Burnley are playing well enough to take 3 points off a demoralised Norwich side.
