Pirates are 3 points clear at the top of the log having won all 6 of their league so far scoring 12 goals and conceding just the 2 . A goal in each half saw them win 2-0 at TS Galaxy last time out, a fourth clean sheet of the season. They now meet Richards for a second time in what is still a very early stage of the season and when these teams met on 29th September a late goal saw Pirates edge it 1-0.
The Bucs were not in action at the weekend given they had already exited the Carling Knockout after a shock 3-2 home defeat to Magesi, the only blemish on their record this season
Second placed Sundowns have a midweek fixture on Wednesday so victory here would the Bucs go 6 points clear in the Betway Premiership title race.
Richards Bay
Richards Bay have a record of 1 win, 2 draws and 3 defeats and scoring goals is a huge problem. They were 1-0 winners at home to Galaxy in their first league action of the season and they haven't found the net in the Betway Premiership since. Away form includes a 1-0 defeat at Chippa, a 0-0 draw at Royal AM and a 2-0 loss at Sekhukhune.
Encouragement comes in the shape of the Carling Knockout form, they beat Sekhukhune 1-0 in a home fixture in the first round and at the weekend they beat Cape Town City on spot kicks after another 0-0 draw.

The Verdict:
Surely Richards Bay must end their goal drought soon but with the Bucs no strangers to keeping clean sheets, it might not be on Tuesday. Pirates to win with a clean sheet is my play.
