WSB Logo Orange 80x80The 2024 season on the DP World Tour comes to an end this weekend as the players head to Jumeriah Golf Estate to decide who will come out on top at the end of a long season.

With all the top players on tour taking part, it promises to be a competitive and exciting finish come the back 9 on Sunday.

We look at this week’s golf from a betting angle and share our plays.

The par 72 plays 7,706 yards.

Course

The par 72 Earth Course at the Jumeriah Golf Estate is an iconic course on the calendar and is one of the longest on tour playing 7,706 yards . The fairways are wide, and greens are large but fast and tricky. There are a number of deep bunkers that are to be avoided if the golfers want to go low. The openness of the course allows for big hitters to really attack the course and gives them a slight advantage.

SELECTIONS:

Rory McIlroy at 4.60

There is a reason that he is the heavy favourite going into this weekend. McIlroy loves playing in Dubai and he has the stats to back that up. In his last eight starts at the Tour Championship, he has finished 22nd or better on every occasion with six top 10 finishes and four of those being top 5 finishes. McIlroy also has three top 5 finishes in his last four starts and finished 3rd last weekend. If there is a concern it is that he doesn’t get across the line for the win as often as he used to but I think that changes this weekend.

Rory McIlroy win only at 4.60.

Tommy Fleetwood at 9.00

Fleetwood has continued his hot run of form on the DP World Tour. He now has two top 5, one top 10 and one top 15 finish in his last four starts. He got off to a flying start last weekend, shooting the tied course record in Abu Dhabi and showing what kind of form he is in. Fleetwood finished runner-up at last year’s Tour Championship, his second runner-up in five years, and was 5th the year before. He knows the course well and has the momentum to finish right up near the top.

Tommy Fleetwood each way at 9.00

Thorbjorn Olesen at 23.00

Olesen has been on a solid run of form. Finishing tied third last weekend he also has five top fifteen finishes in his last six starts on tour. The Dane currently sits 12th in the Race to Dubai ranking and a good result this weekend could see him finish in the top 10.

Thorbjorn Olesen each way at 23.00

Antoine Rozner 71.00

Rozner makes his 5th appearance in this event and last year he got to grips with the course finishing 11th. He brings excellent current form into this tournament having finished 6th last week and 4th in his penultimate start.

Antoine Rozner each way at 71.00 and a bigger bet at 5.00 for a Top 10 finish
