Race 1
MY BOY LOLLIPOP is better than his last start over 1400m. His penultimate run when second over this C&D catches the eye. He gets the blinkers fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If this run has not come too soon, he should be competitive.
MASTER DU ROUVRAY was in need of his debut effort over this C&D. He found betting support that day which suggests that he was showing good work at home. He would have come on from the run and should make the natural improvement.
ALWAYS SHINING is better than his last start on the Polytrack. His form prior to that outing was decent. S’manga Khumalo rides and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
Race 2
NIGHT ROCKER produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. He showed good speed and stayed on to finish second. He would have gained from the experience and with Richard Fourie in the saddle, he should take a power of beating.
RECORD HIGH showed good improvement when second over this distance on the Polytrack last time. He is a progressive type and is one of the leading contenders.
SILVER SAVAGE stayed on when third over 1000m last time. He steps back up to 1200m and if this run has not come too soon, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 3
ICY LANCASTER is better than her last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. It must be noted that Spirit Of Levana has come out and won again since. She is a filly with scope and if finding the form of her penultimate run, she should run a big race.
MISS MUNROE ran a good race when third over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. She is a progressive type and if all went well with her travels, she should go close.
LIGHTINTHEDARKNESS was in need of her debut over this distance on the polytrack. She would have come on from the run and should make the natural improvement.
Race 4
PRITTI VICTORY is a winner of her last two starts over 1200m on this course. She raced from just off the pace last time, quickened up well and kept finding all the way to the line. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She is a filly with ability and should notch up the hat-trick.
RUSSIAN DOLL stayed on when fourth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. Her penultimate run when second over this distance catches the eye. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
WAR EMPRESS has fair consistent form lines to her name. She has finished second twice and third twice from five starts over this C&D. She should earn another cheque for her patrons.
Race 5
CONTINENTALEXPRESS finished 0.5 lengths behind VIHAAN’S BOMB last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. With a bit of luck in running, he can return to winning ways.
TRUSOVA finished 1.1 lengths behind VIHAAN’SBOMB in the race referred to above. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around.
VIHAAN’S BOMB is a winner of his last three starts under Richard Fourie, the latest of which was over this C&D. He is drawn wide in barrier 10, but Richard Fourie knows him well and he should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
Race 6
GORGEOUS GIRL followed up her maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1750m on this course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She is ideally C&D suited and is the horse to beat.
PERILLA was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. She would have come on from the run and can follow up with another victory.
TOMYRIS finished 1.95 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. S
Race 7
MADISON BLUES showed signs of needing his last start over 1400m on the Polytrack. He won his only attempt over this C&D. He takes a slight drop in class and from pole position, he may be the one to cause the upset.
SHOTGUN WILLIE finished 0.7 lengths behind JAZZ FESTIVAL last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. With luck in running, he should be competitive.
JAZZ FESTIVAL ran on strongly when winning his last start over this C&D. Tristan Godden retains the ride and if jumping on terms, he can follow up.
Race 8
FIRECRACKER showed good improvement when third in her last start over 1400m on this course. She lost a length leaving the start but finished off her race strongly. She should enjoy the rise to the mile and from her good draw of three, she may be the one to side with.
TIPPERARY is better than her last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. Her previous two efforts were good. If putting her best foot forward, she should pose a threat.
DEE DAY raced from a handy position over this distance on the polytrack last time, but found one too good in the form of Way To Burn. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. If suited to this course, she may be hard to peg back
