THE GREEN ZONE showed good speed when winning her maiden over 1000m on this course. She steps back up to 1200m and the blinkers have been removed. She may be hard to peg back at the wire.

PRETTY PRECIOUS’ last four starts before given a 16-week break were good. She has finished second twice and third once from four starts over this C&D. The daughter of Potala Palace meets the right field and if fit, she should be competitive.
PINK MOON showed pace despite losing a length at the start last time before getting outrun late. The cheekpieces seem to have done the trick. If jumping on terms, she should pose a massive threat.
CHAMPAGNE KISSES finished 0.1 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. She is a progressive type and must be considered.

Trainer Brett Crawford holds a strong hand in this contest and can saddle the first two past the post. FUTURE PRINCE ran a good race when third in the Non-Black Type Winter Mile. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts over this C&D. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
ALLEZ MORIS was a tad disappointing over 1800m last time. He returns from an 11-week break which may have done him the world of good. If not in need of this outing, he should be involved at the finish.
MAGIC VERSE was running on when third over 1400m last time. He is unbeaten from two starts over this distance. From pole position, he merits healthy respect.

PACAYA found one too good in the Grade 3 Pocket Power Stakes last time. He has won once and finished third twice from five starts over this C&D. Two of his six career victories have come in the wet. He can notch up another victory.
LOVE IS A ROSE raced from a handy position in the Listed Stormsvlei Stakes last time, but found one too good in the form of Red Palace. She has won twice and finished second once from seven starts over this C&D. She is in a good space and should give the males a run for their money.
SUGAR MOUNTAIN fought hard for his last victory in the Non-Black Type Winter Mile. He is ideally better suited to shorter, but is in a good space and cannot be ignored.
Race 9
AMONG THE CLOUDS was her own worst enemy over this C&D last time as she over raced in the early stages. She has won once and finished second three times from five starts in the wet going. If Richard Fourie is able to switch her off early, she can go one better.
KAMAKAZI won a good race over 1600m last time. She received a four-pound penalty for that victory. If seeing out the extra furlong on offer, she should pose a threat.
